Questions & Answers
This pillow is used by my mother for her lumbar support. If you're looking for a travel neck pillow, I found a small neck with strap pillow that works great in my mother's recliner, but it's not memory foam. It's a tiny little thing for things like car seats, but it's the perfect neck support for my mother. Search "travel or car."
The strap is stretchy and adjustable, so it will fit over most chair backs.
So, what exactly is the issue? Is this available in a large size, and if so, how big is it? My collection isn't particularly large.

As I lean into the chair, my 120 pound body simply flattens out. I squeezed the pillow to show how soft it is, but it's not good for back support. br>It's good for neck support if you're using it for that.
However, I can't give them a perfect score because of a few flaws. To begin with, the advertised "cooling gel" does not exist. The interior is essentially a semi-open plan. The cushion is made of firm round foam with a velour-like cover. The advantage is that you are not forced to adjust your body to fit them because they adapt to your body due to their flexibility. However, because your body weight and pressure flatten them to some extent, this does not provide optimal support. The covers can be removed for cleaning, which is a nice touch. The straps that allow you to place the support piece on a chair or car seat and tighten it in place are a nice feature. However, because of its flexibility, I have to adjust it every time I sit down because it tends to roll downward when I sit, even with the strap snugly in place. While it's nice that the covers can be machine washed, the straps aren't removable, and I'm concerned that machine washing would tangle them up and cause them to tear off. I bought these with the intention of improving my posture, and they do help to push my lower back outwards, which in turn causes my shoulder area to push backwards, resulting in a more vertical posture. I don't believe they would help with actual back pain or relieving a tired back during, say, a long car ride; they suit my needs, but I don't believe they are the best "true" lumbar support product on the market.
These pillows were purchased in threes by me. I asked my wife to cover the cushion with an old wool shirt to make it more comfortable; she sews and quilts, so this was a simple task for her. This keeps my back warm by retaining body heat. For my adult children, I needed to purchase additional pillows. When they sat in my chair and learned about the advantages of using one of these pillows. I ended up purchasing two pillows, which my wife then covered in wool fabric. This pillow is more comfortable than my car's lumbar support. You may also require an extra pillow for your vehicle.
incredibly gentle. This is a good product, but it doesn't work for me because it won't stay put on my chair. It hangs down, which I don't like, and it keeps sliding down, which is extremely frustrating. I wish someone had created a new version using the same materials. It's super soft and comfortable, which is exactly what I was looking for, but it won't stay put. It'd make a nice neck rest, but it's not very firm if that's what you want. In theory, this product is fantastic, but in practice, it falls short.
Saves your back! br>I have no opinion on the cooling system, but I think the customer service is fantastic. After a week of use, my back pain was gone. br>Because I'm over 200 pounds, I'm putting a lot of pressure on this small pillow. It's still in good condition!.
I've had these for a while (I actually ordered two sets or two pillows) and I've been debating whether or not to keep them. br>Because the strap is too short for a recliner, I joined the pillows together and experimented with different ways to use them, but they are not particularly comfortable. This would have been perfect if the strap had been longer. The pillows are a little firmer than I prefer; it's a great idea, but it's not for me. br>They arrived as promised and on time, so I'm pleased with that.
I take it with me everywhere, and I'm planning on getting another (or two) soon.
Although it's designed for lumbar support, I'm using it for neck support in conjunction with a larger lumbar support cushion that runs the length of my back. The fabric is extremely soft, and the memory foam is fantastic! I would strongly suggest it!.
