It's a better option than using pesticides.
Because some noseeums can be truly microscopic in size, there are no nets on the market that can keep all noseeums out. This net has 225 holes per square inch and should keep most bugs out, even small ones. This is the smallest mesh size we offer because any smaller will tear easily and provide poor air flow. Whether or not this net will work for you is entirely dependent on the size of the noseeums in question.
The net is hung from a hook (which came with the hanging kit) in this photo. A hook, screw anchor, and rope are all part of the hanging kit. If you're only going to use the net for a short period of time, a plastic ceiling hook or velcro-style adhesive picture hanger is a good option. These will provide adequate support for the net and can be easily erected and dismantled without leaving any marks. br>Stanley Tedderfield and the Tedderfield Team
Thank you for contacting me with your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have a model that will fit a king-size four-poster bed at this time. We hope you'll be able to find one that fits your bed without too much difficulty. Stanley, with best wishes

When we dropped the mosquito net over it, my 7-foot outdoor umbrella was way too short. The mosquito net's bottom did not even come close to touching the ground. We got creative and stapled the net to the inside of the umbrella instead of returning it. Instead of being 6 feet long, the net was closer to 6 feet long. It is, however, attractive and functional. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The net has been invaded by moths. I bought it with the intention of using it outside under our patio lights. I'm not sure how well you need to seal this thing up, but I don't believe moths enter from the bottom. However, I am unable to return this net due to the DIY project we had to complete in order for it to function properly.
While working in a "rustic" house, I purchased this for indoor use. Because I'm afraid of spiders and scorpions, I attached the ring to a hook on my ceiling and tucked the bottom of the net beneath my bed mattress, creating a literal safety net so nothing could fall on me while I was sleeping. The purchase was worth it just for the peace of mind. Nothing can get inside the Bering because it's so small; the opening doesn't have a zipper or anything, so I just overlapped it and closed it with three hair clips. My only criticism is that folding and storing it is difficult. There's nothing a 13-gallon trash bag can't fix.
The 34-inch hoop is the most effective part. . . it's the difference maker! The netting is lovely, and it's not too heavy. I'm being very gentle with it because I can see how easily it could tear if it catches on something. br>My photos show a queen-size bed, but the netting drags on the ground, so I believe it would work well for a king-size bed as well. I can still use my ceiling fan even though it's 7" below the ceiling (!). br>I draped it over the top third of my bed from a ceiling hook. Placing it behind the bedhead is a good idea. I'm considering moving the hook 6" closer to the middle. Let's see how things turn out. br>The screw-in 'anchor' The hook didn't work. Too flimsy to penetrate the wallboard, so I went to the hardware store and bought a sturdy anchor, which solved the problem. (As a result, I'm out an additional 33 cents. ) I'm ready for it. ) br>This business provided a product that was exactly what was advertised. no hype. When this happens on Amazon, it's such a relief. It takes a lot of time and effort to sift through all of the reviews and determine which are genuine. ugh. br>By the way, this net isn't insecticide-treated, which I wish it was because it would kill those nasty West Nile-carrying critters instead of just blocking them. I understand that insecticide makes some people uncomfortable in North America, but it is completely safe. It makes a huge difference in Africa! I'll see what I can do about it. I'm not sure I'm up to it, so I'll wait and see how bad things get this summer. I live in Southern California, where mosquitoes are a year-round problem, and they're cunning little buggers! They always seem to find their way into my old house, tracking that carbon dioxide; oh well, we're all learning to cope with global warming.
This is an incredible product. Mosquitoes have been infiltrating my apartment, and no matter what I did, my son and I were being bitten at night. For us, this mosquito net was a game changer. Here's what I'm so taken aback by. It's extremely long-lasting. I'm often a little careless with it, and it snags on my bed now and then, but it never rips! It's also very flattering, so it doesn't detract from the overall atmosphere in my room. On top of that, I haven't been bitten by a mosquito in a long time! Buy it! Folding and transporting this item is a breeze. You're not going to be let down.
It turned out to be even bigger than I expected. Good value for the money, and simple to set up. br>Behind the net, I used curtain lights, lining the ends of the lights with the curtain rod's ends. Then, using the same hook that the net was hanging on, I hooked the remaining middle section to it and pulled three light strands on each side onto the net hoop. It actually worked perfectly, much to my surprise. br>Grandkids were ecstatic, but not so much that they went down for a nap without complaining.
I bought this to bring with me on my trip to Cancun, Mexico, because I was six months pregnant and worried about mosquito bites. It was light and compact, easily fitting into a suitcase. It was very simple to set up and did a good job. The bedroom has even been given a romantic, dreamy feel.
We are now able to go out in the evenings without fear of being bitten.
THIS WAS AN EXTREMELY MONEY AND TIME WASTE! THIS WILL NOT FIT A KING BED IN CALIFORNIA! PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING THIS, AS I SHOULD HAVE DONE, AND THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHAMEFUL. FALSE ADVERTISING! It says the diameter is 42 feet at the bottom. It was WAY TOO SMALL to fit on my umbrella table outside! IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T FIT MY CALIFORNIA KING BED IF IT DOESN'T HAVE AN Umbrella Table! Also, it claims to be the "largest mosquito net on Amazon," which is FALSE!.
