I was shocked at how much a queen size bed tent would cost, as most are $200 or more, so I was overjoyed when I came across this one! I didn't mind if it wasn't of the highest quality because I wasn't sure how long it would last with two small children, but when it arrived, my husband and I were blown away by the quality of the fabric in particular! br>br>The mint color is so pretty, and the fabric is thick but soft to the touch (more like a sturdy but soft linen than a typical tent fabric). It had no strange toxic odor to it, in fact, it had no scent at all, which I find is unusual for less expensive products. br>br>The packaging was neat and attractive, and the instructions, while not in English, were simple to follow thanks to the illustrations provided. Within ten minutes, my husband and I had it completely put together and ready to use. 15 minutes with no problems. br>br>EXTREMELY happy with this! I'd recommend it for kids' rooms, shared dorms, or even just for fun in an adult room!.
It's tough and simple to put together! And I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this one!.
I've bought and used a few different bed tents from Amazon. br>Many are made of thick, heavy-duty material, but they sag badly and are difficult to get into and out of. For seclusion and privacy, I sleep in a bed tent. Using a bed rail was quite difficult with the other bed tents because the openings were so low, and I had to fight the tent, or remove poles and make a larger opening. br>I am a medical care patient, and I have to sleep out in the main living area. br> br>The large side opening on this bed tent makes it easy to transfer and get out in the middle of the night when nature calls. Because the fabric of this bed tent is thinner, a blackout mask is required to keep light out. br>However, the airflow is fantastic! br>br>I also liked that this bed tent didn't have a floor and that I could easily secure it to an 18" high metal bed frame.
The only thing I didn't like was that there were no English instructions, but that's understandable if you can look at pictures and figure out how to put it together. Overall, I give it a ten because the material isn't cheap and my daughter enjoyed it at her sleepover party. If your child enjoys forts, I would strongly advise you to purchase this. We ended up putting a queen-size blow-up bed inside, which fit perfectly. The best Amazon purchase I've ever made that didn't deceive me with its appearance. Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic product.
It's very sturdy and spacious!.
It's a thinner cotton-like material, so it doesn't get hot inside, and we used it to cover a queen size mattress and box spring; it's a snug fit, but because there's no bottom, it's easy to just snuggly slip over top of both. Our son climbs all over the back side of the house and the plastic assembly snap bars haven't broken yet (30 days of use). Any neurotypical or neurodivergent child will have a good time with this game.
It's a little awkward to put together with the poles, but it's not difficult, and it takes two people to do it. The height of the tent is also determined by the thickness of your mattress and the extent to which you pull it down. I was able to put it up and have it fit comfortably on my bed without hitting or touching my ceiling fan (which is a standard apartment height). Because of its sheerness, it's more opaque than a stocking, allowing light to pass through.
This was necessary because my sister does not have a room! I was taken aback by the price, but my sister adores it, and considering how long it's been on her bed, I'd say it's a fantastic investment. One thing to keep in mind: if you don't ventilate it, it will become very hot inside. My younger sister had the tent closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for four months and wondered why she was hot at night. br>br>Remember to take the tent down AT LEAST once a week. While you're at school/work, I think you'll be fine to turn it back on at night.
