br>i bought this replacement hose to extend the functionality of my shower head; the hose that came with it was far too short for me to fully utilize the shower head. The original hose was much stiffer and less flexible, and it was so short that the shower head would hang a foot or more above the floor. When using my shower head, I prefer to have NO restrictions; If I want to hold it while sleeping on the shower floor, I want to be able to do so. br>I failed the first time I attempted to connect the hose ends to their proper locations; I was afraid I'd made a mistake on one or both ends by using the wrong thread pattern. Perseverance, on the other hand, was my savior, and after several frustrating attempts that failed in cross-country travel, I was able to achieve my goal. After a lot of threading, I was able to get that sucker on straight. I was rewarded for my perseverance and patience. br>There are more gasket washers included with this hose than any two installations should require, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside; I would have probably exploded into a supernova of rage if, after all my cussing and yelling, I had finally connected the hose, only to discover it leaked like a lawn sprinkler, forcing me to make an unplanned trip to find parts. br>This hose is exceptionally well-designed and constructed, as well as extremely flexible and long; Instead of trying to come up with a concise way to express how long it is in words, I'd like you to look at the pictures. As you can see in the second image, it's almost twice as long as the original. br>Some people might think it's TOO long, in which case I say, shut your mouth and leave me alone with my shower head.

READ ON FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL IT! It's a great replacement, but there are no instructions on how to put it together! EXTRA RUBBER WASHERS (remember this)br>During the initial installation, which is straightforward, the hose leaked from beneath the shower head connection! I began the return process, was about to write a negative review, when I decided to scroll down to see if anyone else had experienced the same problem. After reading another Amazon review, I discovered that the EXTRA RUBBER WASHERS are meant to be placed in the base of your shower head and the hose connection! Even though it already has one inside, add the second one, tighten as much as you can, and VOILA! There will be no leaks any longer!.

On a Moen Magnetix handheld shower head, I needed to replace the hose. This one outperforms the Moen hose by a factor of two, and it costs less than half as much. This shower hose is, in fact, the Lincoln Continental of shower hoses: Comes with Teflon tape, two extra washers, and excellent protectors for both ends of the hose to keep them from getting damaged in transit and the washers from falling out while you're working on the installation. Installation takes less than 15 minutes and requires no tools other than a pair of reasonably strong fingers (tools would actually harm the finish). I've replaced a lot of shower hoses, and this one was by far the best. NOTE: Teflon tape is included in this hose. If you've never used Teflon tape for plumbing before, go online and look up instructions for how to apply it properly (the hose comes without instructions).

I never expected to be writing a review for something like this. Hoses and cables, in my opinion, are simply things that work or don't. I'm so impressed that I feel compelled to write a fair review in order to assist other shoppers. Instead of the chrome-plated plastic found on most other products, this hose is made of genuine metal. It has a nice finish and is more flexible than the one I had previously. Instead of being stiff and easily twisted, it flexes nicely and drapes down smoothly. This went above and beyond my expectations. If you found this useful, please "like" it. That will give me an excuse to tell others about my shopping experience in the future.

This is a fantastic hose, especially for the price; I couldn't find anything comparable in the big box stores. This stainless steel hose is of excellent quality. My five-year-old shower head's hose had failed and was leaking, so I ordered this. To be honest, I wish I had purchased this on Day One rather than waiting. The longer reach is much more comfortable, as it does not kink, twist, or bind. Thank you for including the Teflon tape as well. This is a nice addition. I've got a personal roll - I knew it was somewhere in my garage, but this saved me the trouble of looking for it.

Although it appears to be well constructed, one end is not identical to the other and has fewer threads. I have a Moen shower head and was looking for a hose that was a little longer. This was difficult to thread on either side of the main shower head, and it leaked. I've installed shower heads numerous times, using teflon tape and then not using teflon tape, but the shower heads always leaked. It wasn't cross-threaded, but it was also difficult to thread. I took it out and replaced it with an original Moen hose, which screwed on easily without the use of teflon tape and had no leaks.
