After purchasing this shower filter, I tested the water to ensure that the chlorine and other chemicals were still present.
That's exactly what I was thinking! I tried to start the thread (which felt like plastic) with a knife, but the plastic ring popped off. Under the white plastic, there is a thread. I'm relieved I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
That certification, I believe, means "safe for drinking water." Because this is for the shower, the answer is most likely no. But I'm not sure that's the purpose of the certification. I hope this information is useful.

In my neighborhood, the water quality is deplorable. My hardwater has an extremely high rating. Because a whole-house water softener isn't in our budget right now, I decided to buy one of these instead (I've been suffering from brittle hair and dry skin). I noticed a difference in my hair and skin right away after the first use. It's been a few weeks, and I've also noticed that no hardwater build-up has occurred. My shower no longer has hardwater stains because I put it up on the shower head like my old one did. I haven't double-checked with a tester strip, but based on what I've seen and heard, this filter is effective. br>br>4/20/20 Update: After three months of use, the shower head is leaking less water, indicating that the filter is clogged. The filter was supposed to last six months, but it only lasted three months for me. Another update: I had one drawback. br> When I turned on the shower, I discovered a bent washer (the black rubber circle) blocking the flow of water. Everything is back to normal now that I removed it. The first filter is still working great.
br>So far, I've used it three times and the results have been incredible. Not only is my hair softer and my natural light blonde is returning (the yucky well water heavy rust hair color is washing away), but it's also made a huge difference in my skin, which is no longer dry, and the inside of my shower! My shower glass doors do not need to be replaced because they are free of soap scum, the floor of my shower is no longer slippery, and the yellow stains on the walls are also disappearing! br>Aside from that, the shower head is extremely powerful; it's a fantastic all-over rain shower that I adore! The only drawback is that the shower head isn't removable. br>5 stars all the way and highly recommended.
My hair looked like it had been styled in a salon! And then there was the morning after that! My skin isn't as crepey or as dry as it used to be. After the first use, you'll notice and feel a difference. I'm also at ease knowing that I'm not bathing in potentially harmful chemicals. I've recommended this item to all of my friends and family because it's a fantastic product! I would strongly suggest it! It also includes a filter replacement.
I've been using it for about a month and have had no leaks. I can tell a difference in my skin and, in particular, my 3-year-old's eczema has disappeared. A+++.
At first, I was enamored with this shower head - It is enormous. The water pressure is extremely high. However, I was never able to determine whether it fulfilled the purpose for which I purchased it: to make the soft the water should be cleaned My hair didn't seem to be getting any better. nails, as claimed by others. Then, a few days ago, there was a loud "snap!" " I washed my hair, and I thought to myself, " The water has gotten worse as I've used it in the days since, so it's now spraying all over the place. My husband took a look at it. It can't be fixed, according to him. It's time to get a new one. I'm hoping the company will provide me with a free replacement.
My only criticism is that there is no volume control, which is my fault because it is something I didn't consider before buying. I didn't realize how important volume control would be until I didn't have it built into my bathroom. My old showerhead had a low water pressure. The volume is medium. I believe I will need to find a similar shower head with volume and pressure controls. Because it's a high-quality product. a high level of pressure I'm currently out of hot water before finishing my shower, which means my water bill will most likely go up. Just something to think about before making a purchase.
I was disappointed when I received this product because, based on the photo I've attached, the shower head appears to be larger than this woman's head, but it is not. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, so I decided to give it a shot. I noticed a few weeks ago that instead of shooting straight down, random streams were shooting out in various directions from the head, as shown here. This product has disappointed me greatly, and I would not recommend it unless they produce a larger version, as shown in the photo above, and send it to me. I'll gladly update my review if they do.
Rinsing the suds from my body and hair now takes a fraction of the time it did previously. It appeals to me.
