Hello! Here is a water treatment expert- Yes, that is a legitimate occupation. So it does remove chlorine. br>On the right, we have my tap water (AUSTIN), and on the left, we have shower water. To be honest, does a better job than 99% of your fridge filters. However, it has no effect on water softening. This was something I expected; the systems that do are in the $150-$200 range. It must have super negatively charged ionic resin and be in the $250 range to be effective. br>Fortunately, chlorine is the skin's worst enemy. Anyone suffering from Eczema, Psoriasis, or dry flaky skin will benefit from this. Blondes- It will keep your blonde looking pretty and prevent her from turning brassy as quickly. br>I would give it 5 stars if the marketing was a little more honest.

low. I was hoping for at least the middle option to be a little stronger, because it's like a high-pressure mist. But, to be honest, it's possible that I'm simply accustomed to extremely high pressures. To be honest, it's a fantastic shower head, and my primary concern was filtering our water because the city uses chemicals to treat it. I can smell chlorine from the faucets, and I have eczema that has flared up since we moved here. br>When I used the filter with this shower head, I got PERFECT results. My skin has calmed down a lot and I don't smell chlorine! Now I have to figure out what to do about our sinks. br>br>.

For the money, this is a decent shower head with four simple steps that only require your hands. My only criticism of the instructions is that they say to wrap the thread end of your shower with teflon tape (a generous supply is included), but they don't mention wrapping the thread ends on both the head to supply line and supply line to shower head holder connections. I did it anyway to make sure there were no leaks, and there were none. I'm dissatisfied with how short the supply line is between the holder and the shower head. It hangs well above the tub line, so if your kids use it, you're going to have a soaking wet bathroom. I attempted, but failed, to retrofit my old supply line, but it did not fit. The tolerances were close, but they were off. Also, and this is just me being picky, but the entire assembly is plastic with a chrome mask. It's just too light and flimsy for my taste. Two extra washers were included in the kit, but there was no explanation as to why they were included or what they were for. But, as a simple deduction suggests, for both ends of the supply line. It was simple to put it together, taking no more than 10 minutes and requiring only your hands. Other than that, nothing else is available. It has a fantastic three-pattern spray that feels heavenly in comparison to the rest of the water in the house. I live in an area where the water is hard and contains a lot of lime and other nasties, and I could tell the difference right away. The ability to soften water was the sole reason I purchased the unit. I'd like to see them include a second filter in the kit or sell more filters on Amazon. It gives you a product number, but it appears to be for a replacement head or a different kit rather than the filter. The filter should be replaced every six months, but I suspect it will be every three months here, and I'd like to be prepared. Moreover, I simply grabbed the supply line to move the head, and the decorative cover simply separated (see photo). It confirms my suspicions that the kit is too inexpensive. br>br>Most important benefit: The quality of your water will be significantly improved as a result of this. luxuriant The biggest disadvantage is: br>br> torn. either a shortage of filters or the inability to find replacements. I was literally standing under a trickle yesterday while attempting to rinse off with so little water coming out! br>I finally decided to disassemble it to see what was wrong, and I removed the water filter before reassembling it, which worked fine. When I went to take a shower this morning, it was spraying water all over the sides of my head, despite the fact that it was tightened all the way. Now I can't get it apart, and it's 6 a. m. , and I can't shower before going to work! I'll get back to you as soon as possible!.

I got the item in a timely manner. Now here's a piece of advice. Apply Teflon tape liberally to all of the joints before doing anything else. When I first wrapped the tape around once or twice, it sprayed all over me and the room when I finally hooked it all up. As a result, I had to dismantle everything and re-tape everything. It was fine after I wrapped it three or four times around each joint and then hooked it up again. br>I've been using it without issue for the past week, and I've appreciated the hose's ability to reach the top of my tall head without bending. br>I did not order any additional filters because I wanted to make sure I liked the item first, but it would be nice if the company included one. 'I think it's a good buy. ' I'm ready to order another one right now because I'm happy with the product.

br>It's very simple to take it out of its bracket and replace it. br>I believe the filtering functionality is lacking. br>Minerals in our well water build up in our hair, turning it brassy. This appears to make no difference to the severity of the problem. I'd used other filters that worked well, but I wanted the convenience of a hand-held device. That feature let me down!.
