There is a high cost associated with this item. There are thin sections on the telescopic arms. Plastic is used to hold the brackets on to the wall. There is a thin piece of plastic in the center of the two telescopic sections, and it tends to move out of position when the curtain slides over The worst part is that it sags a bit in the middle because the fabric is so thin. I would have been happy if I had paid $15 dollars for I don't feel satisfied with the price of $50 + dollars. When it comes to purchases, I think if I could see and touch the item before acquiring it, I would have walked away. I am leaving it where it is for now, but now that it is permanently mounted, it has opened holes in my freshly painted walls. Each time I am "sitting" in the bathroom and look at this thing, I will silently curse the Moen name. When it comes to quality and value, you should look elsewhere.
There is a possibility that a little profanity will slip out during installation. You will save yourself some frustration if you have a helper. Unlike most screw mounts, this one has a flat bottom. Keeping this in mind if you have tiled walls is a good idea. Although I didn't have a helper, it was still quite difficult for me to install it without someone holding it in place while the screws were inserted.
There is a design reason behind this. It is the first time that I encountered a shower rod that was held up by its finish plate. I've installed numerous shower rods in the past. When you slide the curtain, the curtain comes crashing down as soon as you put any weight on it. The old one has already been taken down and a new one installed. My roots are in Amiens, so I would have expected.
It is horrible to look at the "chrome. " I am shocked at how cheap it looks. Almost all of the other fixtures in my bathroom are chrome, while this shower rod does not match any of them.
One that was matte black with square ends was hard to come by. My initial hesitation was due to the fact that so many of them are made of cheap materials. Stylish and sturdy, you can't go wrong with this one! Thank you for pointing it out to me. Install was complicated I gave the product a three because it was tricky to attach the rod ends to the wall.
There are some great drinks at the bar. The rod is thin, one half telescopes out from the other with one bump in the middle for the shower curtain to catch on (or maybe it would, I'm not going to put it up), and the part that telescopes out catches on something? There's white plastic on it! My shower curtain won't even hold on to this, so I'm not sure.
I think it's a great product. At least, it would have been had all the parts been available. Despite its length, the rod was spinning because a pin held it in place. The situation was handled well by Moen,.
A 1 out of 5 star rating There is something wrong with the chrome - it is yellowish Has different colors and styles of chrome than other brands at home.
