Since I received my mat, it has been about a month since I received it. Black spots and dirt have not been an issue so far. I have lifted it up over the weekend to wash under it, but have not yet machine washed it.
I felt comfortable on it because of the cushioning. The shower chair I use is very convenient to me. While I have been using the mat, it has not moved once, and I felt very secure and comfortable on it.
