Wipe away any excess water from the shower/tub wall and adhere it perpendicularly. It will come loose if you do not wipe some of the water off the wall.
It's not as soft as a yoga or exercise mat would be. I like the feel of the surface, but I don't have your issue. On the underside (the suction-cup side), you can see that there is a large texture. cups). You may think they're rocks, but they're actually soft rocks. Perhaps a trimmed yoga mat (if it's stable in the tub) would be a better option.
Yes, that is correct. It stays put in the shower and is easy to pull up and hang dry. The quality is satisfactory to me.
No, I do not believe that is true. My husband prefers to take baths, while I prefer to shower in a shower chair. When I pull the mat up to clean the tub, there is no more scum than there was with the old mat.

I originally gave it three stars, but I'm updating it to five stars, and I'd give it ten stars for customer service if I could. When I had a problem, the company that makes and sells these contacted me and insisted on sending me a replacement for free. I'm not used to such excellent customer service, and they are truly committed to producing a high-quality, long-lasting product; as someone who requires secure footing in the bath, I appreciate them greatly, and the product is fantastic!.
treated with bacteria "The whole point of getting a natural rubber bath mat was to avoid toxins, and whatever chemical they used to treat it with can't possibly be good for my baby to put her bare bottom on during a bath. " I wish it had been made clearer that it had been given an anti-fungal treatment. The item's description mentions a bacterial chemical.
There are two points to remember: 1. br>br> It "sticks" to the tub thanks to moisture-dependent suction. To ensure that the mat stays in place, you should run some water over the bare tub before laying it down. Otherwise, it'll slide all over the place. It does, however, work like a charm once you've turned it on. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Remove it after each shower and hang it to dry if you want it to last a long time without molding. If you only have one, you may as well do it. To keep things clean, spray the tub floor with a water/white vinegar solution (or a daily shower cleaner if you just want to buy it off the shelf at your local super market).
Following on from my previous I purchased the Changing Lifestyles Safe-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard-Guard- Bath 17" Grip I purchased Amazon Shower Handles for shower security, but I knew I could also use a bath mat for added protection. However, I've never been a fan of bath mats. I visited the brick and mortar store in my neighborhood. I went to the store and bought two different bath mats. I returned both because I was still slipping on them, which I believe was due to my body wash. shampoo. On Amazon, I did a search. I came across this 'Anti-Slip' bath mat and thought it was pretty cool. I chose this one because it was made of heavy-duty rubber and, as an added bonus, it was 'Latex Free. ' I've had the mat for a couple of weeks now. NO SLIP is exactly what it says on the tin. I do remove it from the tub after my shower, as instructed, to allow it to dry on the bottom, but this isn't a problem. I really like this mat because it is non-slip and adds another layer of safety for me. This is a bath mat that I strongly recommend.
Slip. [edit]I originally gave this a five-star rating, but after a month of use, it has become severely discolored and is causing reddish brown stains in the shower. We've lived in this house for 30 years, so we're familiar with how our water interacts with various objects (it's never a problem). So, while my glowing review below still holds true, and the mat is extremely safe, the stains are a pain, and the product could be better. [end edit]br>br>Like most of you, I'm more concerned about falling as I get older, particularly in the shower. The combination of a tile shower and a water softener can make the shower floor slick. As a result, we installed a shower mat many years ago. That mat, however, was not a panacea because it did not solve the problem completely. It was a little slick on top, and the suction cups occasionally let the mat slide sideways, posing the risk of a "magic carpet ride to disaster. " "br>br>I figured it was past time to switch mats. br>br>This one came highly recommended, and the description stated that it could be used on tile floors. Because our shower floor is made of 4" x 4" tile, I believe any mat would work (I'm pretty sure the issue with some mats is that their suction cup placement doesn't work with really small tiles because there are so many grout lines that most of the suction cups won't adhere). This mat has a lot more suction cups than our previous one, and they're all close together. br>br>I soaked the floor, laid the mat down, and showered. All I have to say is WOW, this mat is fantastic. Even with our soft water, the top isn't slick at all, and the suction cups prevent any sideways movement. On top of this mat, I feel extremely safe. br>br>The width of the mat is my only slight disappointment. The measurements listed on Amazon are accurate, and it is one inch narrower than my old mat. This may not seem like much, but I am tall and have a wide stance, so that extra inch would be useful; however, I can still stand on it with both feet without having to place one foot on the tile, so it will suffice. This is an excellent mat. br>br> It isn't slipping, and neither will you. I believe you will enjoy it. br>br>.
Look at the pictures I've taken. Mold can grow on this bath mat. After reading all of the reviews, I purchased mine five months ago. Mold or mildew does not appear to build up, according to everyone. It does. Many of the reviewers are writing reviews as soon as they receive the product, which almost defeats the purpose of determining the true quality of the product. br>br>Overall, the mat "works" and keeps me from slipping in the tub, but the prospect of having to clean off this nasty mold is not appealing. Before purchasing this mat, I suggest doing some more research. Don't buy it just because it's Amazon's number one best-selling bath mat. The ratings don't mean anything.
Take a look at this! I'm 25 years old and recently moved into an apartment with a slick bathtub, so this is one of the best bath mats I've ever seen. I've fallen numerous times and suffered serious injuries as a result. I was looking for the best bath mat I could find on Amazon when I came across this. Other bath mats I've owned haven't stuck to the ground or become easily dirty. I've had it for a few weeks and it's kept very clean. It's stuck to the ground but can easily move if necessary. I haven't slipped in the shower since I got this, and I am so impressed with the quality of this bath mat that I would recommend it to anyone. br>br>APRIL 28, 2015 UPDATE: This bath mat is still in use and performing just as well as it did when I first received it. There hasn't been any mold growth, but it has become somewhat filthy. That's not a big deal because it's super easy to clean and looks brand new after a good scrub! After months of use, I'm still blown away by this bath mat.
