Questions & Answers
The smoothness of the top is not perfect. This, I assume, is to keep it from slipping around in the shower. Mine, on the other hand, is very pleasant to stand on. At least, that's how it appears to me.
Machine-washable and air-dryable (do not use a dryer).
Soap getting stuck has never been a problem for me, at least not any more than it would on the bathtub itself. My hair, to be honest, gets all over the place, including on my son. However, I appreciate how much ends up on top of the mat. I still need to clean underneath it, but it's a lot easier because some of it just lifts out with the mat.

In terms of safety and mildew resistance, this is an excellent bathmat: The suction cups are extremely secure, and the mat's design allows for good drainage. The disadvantage is that standing on it is not very pleasant. The surface is made of a hard plastic/rubber, and the gaps between the top slats are large enough to make it uncomfortable after just a few minutes. I read some other reviews that said the same thing, but I figured, hey, I'm only in the shower for five minutes. What can go wrong in 6 minutes? But, surprisingly (to me), it's quite irritating after only that short period of time. br>br>I'm of average weight, but I do have somewhat flat feet, which may make it worse for me. I wouldn't recommend it if you're overweight or have foot problems. To be honest, as much as I like the practical design, I'm not sure I'd buy it again. br>br>Suggestions to the manufacturer: This is a great design in terms of functionality; however, if it could be coated with a softer top finish, it would be a significant upgrade. br>br>July 25, 2020 UPDATE: Even though I had not requested a refund, the seller was very responsive to my comments above and graciously offered one. So despite my unhappiness with their product, I must say that I am extremely pleased with the company as a whole. I must say that I am extremely pleased with the company. They are truly committed to product quality and customer satisfaction, and I would gladly try more of their products in the future.
There's no way out. see pics! That is not going to work.
So this mat has been in my possession for about two weeks. Because of a recent move, my shower is now smaller, and our old bathtub-length mat was too large. It was also uncomfortable to stand on the hard tile floor in the shower. I also wanted something higher off the ground to allow for better drainage and avoid standing in a pool of water. This mat is the ideal height for standing on, as it allows water to flow more freely down the drain. It's firm, not squishy or soft, but it feels good on the feet and provides more support than those thin no-skid mats. It's not particularly large, but given the size of my shower, it's ideal - a large mat on which to stand and move around during a shower There is a lot of suction here. When I tried to move it the other day, the suction was so strong that it wouldn't budge no matter how hard I pulled. It was simply abandoned. It can be moved with a lot of force, but if you're tired of your shower/tub mats moving around a lot, this will be a welcome relief. The texture, height, and spacing of the slats can all be seen in the photos. I strongly suggest it!.
My list of advantages and disadvantages is as follows:br>Pros:
- Suction cups are abundant and provide a good level of security. br>- Cons: Grey is a lovely neutral color. br>
- It's not pleasant to stand onbr>- I believe it prevents water and suds from draining properly, potentially resulting in mildew problems. br>br>Neither my husband nor I are bath mat users. It's simply not something we want in our bathroom. I'm sure this would be perfect for someone who needs or wants a bath mat. Simply put, it's not our cup of tea.
This is the mat to get if you need something super grippy. Because the suction cups are so strong, the mat did not move at all. Our previous bath mat shifted around in the tub, but this one remains stationary. I also like how the water flows right through it, so no grime or bacteria can get stuck on it. It's self-cleaning, to put it that way. It has hard slats, but they provide excellent foot support, according to my husband. This is the bath mat to get if you're looking for a great all-around mat.
As a result, I continued to fix the suctions, which appeared to be in good working order. Then two of the remaining family members slipped because they moved in place and lost suction! I'm enraged to the point of being enraged.
The material is simple to set up and clean. This bathroom has what I call "super suction cups," which work extremely well and do not slide. The mat is comfortable to stand on, but it must be removed before bathing. It is not a pleasant place to sit.
I bought it for the kids' tub because it can be slippery with all their soaps and other items, but it's not the most comfortable when you're taking a bath. If you plan to soak, I recommend removing it. Even with the smaller floor tiles, it works beautifully in our stand-up shower. Unlike most mats, it does not lose suction or slip and slide. It's also made of a tougher, more durable material, so I expect it to last much longer, and it feels good on my feet. It also appears to be fairly simple to trim if you need it smaller, but I think it's a good size; I'd buy it again if I needed another.
