If that's the case, they should mention it in the ad, because most other $100 models only weigh 30 pounds.
It doesn't stall if you slam the brakes on it. If you press too hard or roll over any bones, it will kick your hand back. It's not recommended for use in areas with a lot of bone. I've used a lot of force to try to break up the knots in my shoulders, but they're still there.

So I spent a lot of time on the internet looking at the specifications of every gun I could find. I'm a mechanical/electrical/computer engineering major student currently serving in the Marine Corps, a long-time lifter and runner, and a muay thai/BJJ practitioner specializing in bio mechanics who developed severe inescapable back and neck pain due to a twisted spine from years of pushing my body as hard as I could. Doctors told me I'd just have to get used to it and deal with the pain, and that I'd have to take an opiate regimen like everyone else. After a year of getting nowhere with physical therapists, chiropractors, xrays, MRIs, and waiting in hospital lobbies, I'm back to being able to focus in class and starting to run miles again after using this for two months. This helped me relieve tension I didn't even realize was causing me problems, and I promise you'll need it more than you think. If you're an athlete, or aspiring to be one, this will eliminate the need for stretching, massages, and foam rolling. GET IT. It's much better. GET IT if you have chronic pain in your back or neck, your feet, your IT band, or even headaches. If your partner or family member is constantly sore and requests a massage, GET IT. This massager has the best specifications of any massager I've looked at, with all the features you'll ever need. Lifeprofitness' products are unbeatable in terms of price. I had one that only lasted a couple weeks at first; this is common with electronics, especially ones that vibrate as much as these, but they usually last a long time, and this company offers a LIFETIME guarantee. That's not something you see on low-quality products, and the company had a replacement at my door in under a week. They were extremely helpful; I could tell I was speaking with a real person in the email, and they persuaded me that they are one of the few companies that genuinely cares about providing a high-quality product at a reasonable price while also maintaining a solid reputation. br>br>SO, IF YOU'RE EVEN CONSIDERING PERCUSSION MASSAGERS, STOP RIGHT NOW and go spend the extra $50 on the Sonic Pro X, which is the upgraded version. It's even better, lighter, and more ergonomic, and it's the one I'm using right now. This isn't one of those cheap knockoffs; it's lighter and even more effective, and it's well worth the money. And I guarantee you'll wish you'd bought one sooner. And, as long as you don't abuse your machine, this will far exceed your expectations, and I guarantee it.
I've had a irritable foot in recent months, which is most likely plantar fasciitis in its early stages. I've been foam rolling and using massage balls on a daily basis to keep it at bay (I also recommend the Life Pro Surger vibrating roller). The Massage Gun has taken pampering to a whole new level. Since I got it, I've been doing 10 minutes of lower body stretching every day for the last couple of weeks. rolling. I've added a Massage Gun to the list of 1-minute massages. From the bottom of my feet to the inner upper thigh, I spent 2 minutes in each area of my lower body (total time was about 10 minutes). On my feet, I use the microphone-looking attachment, and on my legs, I use the flat attachment. The difference in tightness is incredible, and the irritable pain on the bottom of my foot has also subsided (despite recently increasing my weekly long run). br>br>Attachments for back massage and a finger-like attachment to dig into aching hips and shoulders have also been tried by my family. It has also proven to be effective in those areas. br>br>I believe it helps to relieve what many people consider to be aches and pains. As we get older, we'll have to learn to deal with a variety of aches and pains. It's fantastic to be able to use the Massage Gun to break up knots and stimulate blood flow. It has become a regular part of my routine, and I intend to keep using it in the future. It's what we call our Massage Robot, and I think it's great. It is something I strongly suggest. br>br>I only charge it once a week and use it at the highest setting for 10-minutes at a time. Every day, for 20 minutes. It's fantastic! If the battery pack or attachments shake loose while in use, it only takes a few minutes to learn how to firmly press them back into place. br>br>After 3 months of use, here is an update: I still adore it! It's something I use on a daily basis and it seems to be helping me work out the kinks that cause aches and pains as an athlete and as I get older.
This percussion massager is a fantastic deal. It's incredibly simple to use, and it comes with a nice carrying case that keeps everything in place. It includes a round ball, a large flat disc, a fork end, a bullet, and a finger shaped tip, as well as five different tip attachments. br>br>It's simple to change out the tips. There is no need to screw or unscrew anything. It's as simple as pressing in and pulling out. Simple. The lighted gauge on the back shows how much battery charge is left in the rechargeable battery as well as what power setting you are on. br>br>It has 5 levels of power from 20HZ to 50Hz. br>br>You can easily see how much battery charge is left in the rechargeable battery as well as what power setting you are on. br>br>The handle has a pleasant curve and a rubberized grip that feels good in the hand and is easy to leverage. br>br>They added a nice bump to the top of the gun, giving you a comfortable place to rest your other hand while applying pressure. br>br>And the motor is quiet, whereas other guns force you to raise your voice, which can be heard from afar. This is far more subtle, and it allows you to converse. br>br>I like to work large muscles like quads, hamstrings, pectorals, and glutes with the ball and flat tips. When you come across a knot that needs to be worked out, the bullet and the finger tip come in handy. I like to use the fork to outline along ridges and where two muscles meet, as well as to run along the spine. br>br>I'd like to see a chart with this to provide an easy guide to where to place the percussion and what tips they recommend, but I did come across a video when applying for the lifetime guarantee that covered that information fairly well. Adding percussion massage to my soft tissue routine has significantly improved my recovery and muscle stimulation routines before and after workouts. br>br>This is an excellent sonic gun.
