Nit sure. It was just what I needed for my Ambit2.
I'm afraid it isn't the case.
The screwdriver that comes with our watch strap is included. br>Can you tell me what the uw80 stands for? Is it a Suunto watch model number?

A couple of minor nitpicks in terms of aesthetics pic. It comes with some great hardware. It's very simple to swap out the bands. All of the new tools (screws and bolts) were put to good use. I had no issues, but I was concerned that if I tightened the screws too much, I would strip them. Nothing, as far as I'm aware, has been stripped. This band has a more rigid feel to it than the Suunto watch band, but that's just personal preference. I'm going to put it in the water tonight, and I'll keep you updated on how it goes over the next few weeks. br>One thing about the band as it sits against the GPS antenna that I don't like is how it looks. The original band is wide and nearly the same width as the antenna. This band has a slightly raised lip and is thinner near the antenna. I'd like to see the original band's thickness, but that's just a matter of preference.
The original is of the same high quality as this copy. Replacement screws and nuts, as well as a torx tool, were included. It only took 5 minutes (I just used the original nuts because they were already in place).
- The 22nd of April has been updated. One of the screws had gotten loose and had to be replaced. Because I'd saved the original screws, I replaced one of them. I attempted to re-record the conversation. Tighten the others, but you'll notice that none of the new screws are completely tight. I replaced all of the new ones with the originals because the originals tightened completely. It appears that the new ones aren't quite long enough to fully tighten. I'm glad I didn't throw away the old screws.
Fit and finish is a hot topic in many reviews. I used to sell these watches and was devastated when the original wrist strap died. The Suunto strap costs around $75. I took a chance with this setup, and I'm glad I did because the little torx screw drivers came in handy. The money spent was well spent. My opinion is that the fit and finish is comparable to that of the original equipment manufacturer.
However, I believe the original band had a more prominent arch (perhaps because I wore it for so long that it stretched), so if you have a larger wrist, it may be a little tighter. They provide extra screws and nuts, but I didn't use the nut because it wasn't required for the ambit 2. Because I didn't have a watch screwdriver, I chose the one with the screwdriver.
The band is functional, but the material is still stiff, which is inconvenient if you prefer to wear it tight. The "soft rubber" isn't quite as soft as it appears. Also, it doesn't sit as smoothly and neatly at the connection points as the original band, but that's a minor quibble. You might not notice unless you're OCD like me and constantly notice that the fit isn't quite as neat/flush as the old band. br>br>Overall, it works for half the price, but you have to sacrifice something if you only want to spend half the price.
The band is fantastic. The screws, on the other hand, are a complete waste of money. The screwdriver that comes with the kit is perfect for the factory screws. It also torques them down quite a bit. With the included screws, however, this is not the case.
This band is a replacement. 7 months. I bought it in December 2018, and while putting it on in early August 2019, it came apart at the hasp.
The band is a little stiff at first, but I believe it will hold up over time. This watch band is put to the test on a daily basis in the EMS field, occasionally getting tangled up in things, but it has yet to stretch or fail me. Definitely a good investment!.
