Questions & Answers

Inside my house, I go for a walk. Because my position does not move enough, the gps tracking is inaccurate. as if on a treadmill Is that something it'll be able to do?

br>WONDERFUL inquiry! When using a treadmill or walking in the park, The body is technically stationary when it is in a particular place. In order for the pedometer to recognize that you are actually walking, it must triangulate X, Y, and Z coordinates. The forward motion is one of the Z vectors. Try clipping your pedometer to your shoe/lower leg (with a band or a sock) OR clipping it to a wristband and moving your arms in sync with your steps to signal forward motion while on a treadmill, according to our tech team. If one remains stationary (no forward movement) while watching Walking at Home DVDs, the same issues arise. The pedometer should be placed in the same spot as it was on the treadmill. Tip: When it's too cold to go outside, I go to a big box store, which I find quite entertaining. And dry. And warm. And there are plenty of sights to see as well as shopping temptations. Of course, if you stay too long, it can be embarrassing when the same clerk greets you for the fifth time.br>Warm regards,br>OneTweak CEO Jan Braunerbr>

Will it look as good as a necklace if you wear it that way? My Fitbit was great until it fell off for the third time, and I was heartbroken. ?

The mere act of wearing a pedometer around your neck can cause it to jostle and jerk, adding steps to the total. The OneTweak pedometer works best when clipped to your pocket facing inwards (to avoid being knocked off). The pedometer is stabilized as a result of this. The high-tech MEMS capacitance technology is extremely sensitive to motion while also being extremely precise. After clipping the pedometer to your pocket, secure it to your belt loop with the lanyard. This is more bulky, visible, and extra work, but it will keep the pedometer secure.

Do you have the option of resetting your steps to zero at any time, or does it only happen at midnight?

Hello, and thank you for posing such an excellent question. Yes, the step-by-step procedure can be manually reset. Hold down the reset button until the count reaches 0 and then release it. A few things to remember: br>Only the daily step-count is taken into consideration. At midnight, the counter is reset to zero. br>The time must be set correctly to show PM between noon and 11: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00: At 59 p.m., the clock will automatically reset to midnight. br>In TOTAL MEMORY MODE, the total step count accumulates and does not reset to zero at midnight. br>In DAILY MEMORY MODE, the step counts do not reset to zero at midnight because they are the previous 30 days' counts. Thank you for your inquiry.br> Any chance to answer questions or solve problems is a valuable gift to me. br>Warm regards,br>Jan Brauner,br>CEO of OneTweak

How do you remove the battery screw?

I'd get in touch with the buyer. My experience with them was excellent, but it had nothing to do with your problem. br>Although I did not experience the issue you describe, I was able to replace my battery without difficulty. Best wishes to you.

I chose this OneTweak after reading the negative reviews of other pedometers in this price range. It arrived on time and in good condition, a few days ahead of schedule. One of the most common criticisms of these pedometers is that they count steps incorrectly. Because there were no comments about inaccuracy on the OneTweak, I chose it. It is accurate, according to my findings. br>br>An issue with the OneTweak is the difficulty in getting it up and running - I received the quickstart guide and found it to be very easy to follow. It took me no more than five minutes. There are diagrams and simple instructions in the quickstart guide. With my 60-year-old body, this is a huge plus for me. year- old eyes: I didn't need reading glasses to read the instructions or the device's numbers and markings. br>br>Another common criticism of the OneTweak is that the device clip isn't secure. That has been my experience. It pops off when I bend over when I clip it to the front of my waistband. I've managed to clip it onto a belt loop, resulting in a large bulge under my shirt and on my bra, exposing it to sweat when I exercise. Overall, a fantastic product; however, the clip could be tighter. I'm going to give it a 4 out of 5 stars. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: So, how about the lanyard? Ms. Cat must have knocked it off the counter, and her accomplice, Mr. Dog, chewed the plastic and metal away, leaving me with just the strap. That Stupid Cat.

Finally, a pedometer that is accurate, tracks useful data, has a holder with a strong clip, a lanyard if you prefer to hang it around your neck, is well designed, and appears to be well built
5/5

I dropped it on the street and it just kept going. Furthermore, it is very reasonably priced. br>br>The best part is the customer service: the owner has sent three emails with helpful hints and tips, as well as a personal cell phone number in case you need it. The owner's emails practically pleaded with me to call if I needed any setup assistance or had any questions. It's as if the customer service is from a different world! Before using the device, I sent an email with a single question, and within an hour, I received a response with five paragraphs of explanation, including multiple options for accomplishing my goal. That is something that not even Apple is capable of. br>br>The difficulty of setup has been mentioned in several reviews. I found the instructions to be clear in both text and pictures, concise but thorough, written in a large type font, and colorfully illustrated. This is an electronic device with many features, and in order to use them all, you must be able to follow and execute nine steps. I'm trying not to exaggerate, but these instructions are extremely clear and simple to follow in my opinion. br>br>The only issue I had with setup was the short timeouts between each step. For example, if you don't enter your stride length quickly enough, it will time out in a matter of seconds. I got timed out the first time because I took too long to consider some of the prompts. The second time around, I jotted down all of the answers and typed them in quickly. On the second try, I was able to get it set up. The owner warns you to act quickly to avoid timeouts in one of the helpful emails, but aside from that, I found the setup to be simple and logical. br>br>A word of warning: If you're using the holder/clip to clip the device to your pocket, belt, or whatever, keep in mind that the buttons are right where your thumb or forefinger goes to release the clip. As a result, accidentally pressing a button while removing the device from your pocket, belt, or other location isn't difficult, but it's not a major issue. No harm is done unless the button is pressed and then held for a few seconds. br>br>I've tried three pedometers, the most expensive of which was a Fitness Band (which was inaccurate when I was sweating). This is the most effective of the three options. I've only had it for a week, so anything that changes will be updated in this review.

The OneTweak pedometer has exceeded my expectations! It has exceeded my expectations! I ordered the first pedometer, which was of a different brand, and then I returned it
5/5

It's complicated (and I'm a good leader-) a follower I became irritated. I returned to Amazon and discovered this. I didn't expect it to arrive as quickly as it did. I received an email inviting me to contact them if I needed assistance. I followed the setup instructions (which were also available online--) a larger print ), and it worked fine (except for a couple of times when I made a mistake - I've been using it for a few weeks and it's very easy to back up a step and get it right. Every morning, I simply slip it into my jeans pocket and forget about it. I can see what I've done if I take it out at the end of the day. But, because it's set to're-start' at midnight, you'll want to check it before then. set' at the stroke of midnight Again, I'm very happy with it.

A pedometer that is simple to use
5/5

We have both the RealAlt and the OneTweak, and they're both great. I believe the OneTweak is made by the same company as the RealAlt. However, I prefer the OneTweak form factor because the display is easier to read and the angled shape is more appealing to me. Once set up, the pedometer accurately counts your steps and resets at midnight. I've worn it on the leash around my neck and with the clip inside a pocket. It will track the stroke count by attaching to a moving part with some alternate activities, such as riding a bike or rowing machine, and it will, of course, work on a treadmill. It's more reliable than my iPhone's step counter, mainly because I don't always have my phone with me and the phone can't be used with a bike or rowing machine. br>I can vouch for excellent vendor support because I misplaced my clip and the vendor kindly replaced it at no cost. br>br>An issue that has been mentioned by others is that when unclipping, you must be careful not to press buttons. A plastic bridge could be placed over the buttons to solve this problem. When you press the Menu button by accident, it does not reset the device; instead, it changes the display mode. I also wish for a backlight, though this would reduce battery life and add another button.

It was only two months before it came to an end
3/5

For two months, this product performed admirably. I used it on a daily basis and was pleased with the accuracy, simplicity, and light weight. However, the numbers are now unreadable because half of the "bars" that make up each number have stopped working. I tried resetting the computer, but it didn't work. It isn't a power issue because half of the numbers are present, just not enough to be read. I'm dissatisfied with the situation.
