This was a fantastic solution. When I work out, I like to wear my Fitbit around my ankle so it can count my steps on the bike, but I didn't want to wear a different watch band, so I just put this extension on and it fits perfectly. I also purchased a Versa 2 face protector for my Fitbit so that it would not be damaged while on my ankle. I was simply extending the band around my ankle with a rubber band, but it wasn't very secure. This device will continue to track my steps and monitor my heart rate.

In fact, I bought it by accident. I needed an extender for my Alta HR, but this one was for the Charge HR, which has a wider band, so I couldn't use it. I'd return it if it weren't for the fact that it was my fault and the shipping is almost as much as the item, which I can't afford. It appears to be of good quality for extending the band length on a Fitbit Charge/Charge HR. I'm not sure why, but they stopped selling the XL bands for the Alta and Alta HR, and the large bands barely fit my extra-large wrist; however, I was able to find a sports band with extra length, so I'm happy. I can't give it more than three stars because I haven't had the opportunity to test its form, fit, function, and wear. It might have gotten a higher rating if I had used it.

I had just ordered a Fitbit with a large band and expected to need an extender because the large band's measurements indicated that it would not fit my large wrist; however, it does! It turns out I didn't need the extender after all. It also doesn't extend far enough to fit around my ankle, which is a problem because my ankles are enormous. Oh well. It's of good quality and comes at a reasonable price, and it serves the purpose for which it was designed. I'm thinking about giving it away.

Good product for those who want to count all of their steps while shopping or carrying items. Wearing the tracker on your ankle is the only way to do so. Plus, I don't like having things on my arms (watches, bracelets, rings, etc. ) because they get in the way and I keep hitting them.

It really works. While I was typing at my desk or driving, Charge 2 was over-counting my steps, but when I got on the elliptical, it was under-counting mine. I'm keeping track of my movements. Now that I've strapped the Charge 2 to my ankle, it accurately counts my steps whether I'm running, walking, or exercising on an elliptical machine or stationary bike.

While shopping, my wife prefers to wear her FitBit Charge 2 on her ankle. With the FitBit on her wrist, pushing a shopping card does not correctly count steps; I also wear my FitBit on my ankle while on the stationary bike, and this extender works great for that.

The extender is great because I have another monitor that isn't a fitbit or an apple, and none of the soft bands fit it for my upper arm. It'd be nice if there was a soft one, but it'll suffice.

The band around my ankle has plenty of room in this product. I cut it a little shorter so it wouldn't overlap my other band, but I made sure there was enough in-between. In the event that I gain weight or give it to someone else, It took a week for me to get used to sleeping with it on. I absolutely adore the fact that I can wear it on my ankle while also wearing my Apple Watch on my wrist!.
