We had a constant battle getting our daughter to eat chewable vitamins every day. To no avail, I tried Flintstones, gum, bubblegum, and even bubblegum gummy. In the past, I often found vitamins hidden or half dissolved under things. These vitamins came at the perfect time for me. Her refusal to argue or complain does not faze her. The bottle does have an odor to it, but she hasn't complained about any fowl taste. There is an odor to the bottle, but she doesn't complain about.

I have two children who absolutely hate the taste and smell of this candy. The flavors would be better if they were not present. Neither of them can stay in their mouths long if the "orange" flavor/smell sticks (the taste is like any other natural vitamin, you don't want to have it in your mouth for too long). Though they can be tough to swallow, they are a great value! strongly recommend that the company remove the flavor from the gel coating and just leave it with a plain layer.

Gummy vitamins and chewable vitamins are a big no-no for my son. This brand of vitamin is better for him than the other brand we tried, but we had to eat it in four pieces every morning. There was a recommended daily dose of 3 for that one! There was a pain in my butt and he did not take the recommended three pills and only ate one. This vitamin has put an end to that! You can do it much more easily this way. The medication is swallowed without complaint and he does not complain about the taste. It is recommended to take one softgel per day. I made it so easy! One of the best things about it is that it contains iron, but not so much that it causes.
