It's a great way to keep the kids entertained! The mykind organic kids multivitamin is usually what I buy, so I will compare these to it since they seem comparable

Mykind vitamins are cheaper per ounce, but you need to take 4 per child, per day. **I always bought these over mykind because I thought they could be taken more effectively. In the end, only a few cents are being added. I think MaryRuth's mixes are healthier, since mykind contains more vitamins. The flavor of these vitamins was much better than the mykind ones for my children. In my opinion, if you have healthy children who eat a balanced diet, these would be great supplements for them. Having the extra vitamin C and D would nevertheless be of benefit to my children since they have some nutritional deficiencies (mainly B vitamins) and one has an autoimmune disorder.

When you open the bottle, the smell hits you like a ton of bricks, so I had to smell one before giving them to my boys

I have not found any other foods that my son will even taste or explore. Asperger's Syndrome has a lot of sensory issues in terms of taste and texture. Whenever he wakes up, he asks for his vitamins. This has made my life so much easier since I started taking it as a supplement.
