Questions & Answers

Ugh! What is the purpose of putting sorry bean oil in this product?

Just to let you know that you are correct: this product contains soybean oil.br>Ingredientsbr>Soybean Oil, Gelatin, Vegetable Glycerin consists of Soy Lechitin, Natural Caramel Color, Titanium Dioxide Color

I know vitamin A is stored in the liver, but does anyone know if milk thistle depletes or breaks down those stores?

I've read a lot about milk whistle's benefits; it's a liver supporter and detoxifier, and you can combine it with a good multivitamin if you want. My younger sibling- To the surprise of his doctors, law saved his sick liver and completely healed it. Please take the time to read the health benefits; you will be pleasantly surprised. It does not appear to be depleting vitamin A in my system.

Do you know when things expire?

The stamped expiration date on the two packs I got today (4/25/2018) is 09/2019. Given that this is a year's supply (2x180), the "freshness" is at best marginal, and Amazon and its suppliers, in my opinion, do a poor job of tracking product expiration dates.

There is no milk thistle in the ingredients list. What is the location of it?

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Puritan's Pride products. The Milk Thistle is a type of thistle that grows in the United States. 1 Extract 1000 mg is a concentrated liquid extract of the herb that is free of plant fiber. Each softgel contains 250 mg of this 4: 1 extract equals 1,000 mg of the whole herb

This item is extremely harmful to our health

BUY THIS PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN RISK! br>Following the administration of 1000 mg of Milk Thistle Extract I get stabbing pains in my liver after using Puritan Pride products. br> I was only trying this product out as a test. Because I was experiencing symptoms, I took a pill and placed it in a glass of water for 24 hours to see if it would dissolve. The coating on the outside the cap- The brown liquid in the glass was the Titanium Dioxide Extract, the Caramel color, and other ingredients listed on the label: Soybean oil, gelatin, Vegetable glycerin, Caramel color less than 2%, Soy lecithin, Titanium Dioxide color br>Soybean oil (genetically modified organism) - Cancer-causing ingredients include titanium dioxide, soy lecitin (GMO), and caramel color. The last ingredient should be avoided at all costs
3/5

I've been taking Milk Thistle for a very long time. On accident, I discovered it contains Titanium Dioxide for Color, and how dangerous it is; you should Google it like I did; I've already had cancer, and this ingredient is basically derived from metal; it's added to enhance color; it's been linked to brain cancer; read all about it on Google; this bottle is going in the trash; I'll never buy it again; and I'll have to tell my doctor and oncologist what's in it, so I can be screened. ONE STAR IS A LIE; IT DOESN'T DESERVE ANY.

We also use it for liver-related issues (at your own risk)
5/5

Works wonders for liver problems (use at your own risk). We also had a dog that the vet advised us to bring home and let die in peace. We gave this product to the dog because it was already vomiting. He was 90% better three months later. He is 100% today.

Titanium dioxide is fine, safe, and effective, and according to the International Agency for Research on Cancer, it is not a known human carcinogen, contrary to some reports
3/5

It's safe to use in a variety of foods. And the critics who claim that the gelatin does not dissolve in water are ludicrous. Put them in a weak solution of hydrochloric acid, similar to what you'd find in your stomach, and see what happens. Such wildly inaccurate reviews, which spread false fears and information, should not be permitted on Amazon.

Oh my goodness, this isn't going to end well! This was a test to see how quickly this would decompose
3/5

In a jar of water, we put two capsules. It's been 24 hours since I took the photos! It took about 12 hours for the capsules to start dissolving. This item contains gelatin, which is harmful to your health! I only gave it one star because I felt compelled to!.

'This isn't a pure product,' says the narrator
3/5

I bought this because reviews said it was a good product, but when it arrived, I was surprised to see it contained both caramel coloring and titanium dioxide (a sunscreen ingredient). I have no desire to detox my liver with carcinogens. This counter-intuitive product will not be taken.

This will also put you to sleep
5/5

Milk thistle is something I've been taking for a long time. The first issue was a fatty liver caused by medications, which was discovered after a year. My sister's cholesterol dropped by 60 points in 60 days, and it helps you sleep if you take it at night. It's used as a cleanser for the body.
