Honey takes three a day to keep his liver in good shape. They were a little pricey, but we're trying to avoid contracting the rona because we don't want to get sick. You can usually find bogo at your local drugstore or grocery store.
After my annual bloodwork revealed high liver counts, I began taking this supplement. My bloodwork for this year has just been completed, and my results are better than last year. I am extremely pleased with this product and intend to use it in the future.
His liver deteriorates as a result of this. The vet wanted to prescribe this expensive liver medication, but it was only an 80-dollar two-week supply. I didn't have that kind of money in the first place! So I went online to look for something that could help my liver heal, and I came across MILK THISTLE! I asked the vet if I could give it to my dog safely, and he said yes, but he couldn't guarantee that it would help. As a result, I inquired as to the appropriate dosage. I found this and have been giving it to him every time I give him his dose of phenobarb since he told me he needed 175 mg. All of his lab work now indicates that his liver is in good shape. It improved 100% and I have been giving him milk thistle for 2 years now that I have been giving him milk thistle for 2 years now that I have been giving him milk thist As a result, I am a firm believer in its liver-healing properties! I'm hoping that this information will be useful to others whose pets are experiencing similar issues.
For years, do this three times a day, every day. If I use a different brand, I notice a difference; I know I should stop drinking wine, but for now, this helps me relax and protects my liver. Tests on the liver are always negative.
I did a lot of research before deciding on this brand, and I went with it because of the quality and price. I need to detox my liver for health reasons. So far, I'm very pleased with this product. There are no strange side effects that I am experiencing. After I eat my meals, I take these. br>I strongly advise you to try them out.
It DOES WORK! In two of my dogs, I used it. Jerry, a 12-year-old Collie, has a 6-centimeter tumor on his liver that was discovered during an annual ECO control in April and, while benign, has altered his internal structure. The results of his liver tests (enzymes, lipidic values, and cholesterol) were all over the place. Jr, a 9-year-old Collie, had an inflamed liver and goldbladder (English is not my first language, so please excuse any grammatical errors), as well as even higher fat and cholesterol levels in his blood. Their veterinarian prescribed the following treatment for both of them: Milk Thistle for lunch (different dosages depending on weight), 1 Omega 3 super strength capsule in the evening, a special diet (Royal Canin Weight Control), and 1 UDCA capsule before bed. We tested them both again after 50 days (which is why I didn't write a review for this and other products sooner: wished to confirm their efficacy): Jerry has made a significant amount of progress! He still needs to be treated because he was discovered to be hypothyroid and is awaiting the results of his Cushing test. His breath no longer stinks, his appetite has returned, and his stamina has returned as well! Jr. outperformed us all! No longer requires Milk Thistle (I'm giving him a lower dose capsule per day for another month anyway to avoid abruptly lowering his dosage), no longer requires UDCA, but still requires Omega in higher doses (Vet believes this is due to Cushing's disease, despite the fact that he tested negative for Hipothyroidism). Nature's Bounty Milk Thistle comes highly recommended by me: It was, and continues to be, a KEY INGREDIENT for optimal liver function, and it has never caused any negative side effects. I hope it's helpful to you as well!.
The seal on the first bottle was broken when it arrived. I was worried that the bottle had already been opened. I complained, and a replacement bottle was sent to me in perfect condition.
I don't get as hungover when I drink these, but I'm not a heavy drinker. I use them to detox my body for a variety of reasons.
