I'm a healthcare professional (and I won't go into too much detail because giving professional advice or recommendations on the internet can be risky). I'm able to get supplements that are of pharmaceutical quality. As a result, I rarely buy supplements that ordinary people buy off the shelf. This product initially drew my attention due to its low cost. From the makers of prescription-only drugs, Only supplements, the best you could hope for is $20-$30 for a 30-day supply. So I decided to give it a shot by purchasing one bottle. To cut a long story short, I no longer have nightly heartburn. I'm sleeping better these days. I'm doing a lot better with my digestion right now. And now that my wife has started taking it for her digestive issues, I don't see why I would need to spend more money on a higher grade product. I ordered three more bottles in case I ran out.
I looked it up on the internet, and it appears that milk thistle is one of the best supplements for liver support and health. Natures Bounty was my first choice because of their reputation for producing high-quality products at a reasonable price. Now that I'm in my early/mid 30s, I still drink on occasion, but I'm much more comfortable with it. LOL.
This isn't something you should buy. This product contains soy and does not contain 1000 mcg of Milk Thistle! Soy is an antagonist to estrogen metabolism, which is why I was taking it in the first place. WARNING TO THE BUYER This is a product you should not buy.
Because I take medication that affects my liver numbers, I use milk thistle to cleanse it. This product appears to help keep the numbers down. My primary care physician expressed her delight that I was taking it.
My liver has greatly improved, according to my blood results.
My liver used to hurt a lot, especially when I drove long distances, so I really like this product. That is no longer the case. I've only been on it for a week, but I'm already seeing positive results. But I combine it with tudca because it aids in fat absorption. herbal extracts and soluble vitamins You might not get the results you want if you take it without tudca. I also take a bite out of the softgel, which has a coffee/cappuccino flavor to it. Of course, spit out the softgel; you don't need it. Your skin may start to glow and even out, which is one of the benefits you may notice. If you find yourself going to the bathroom frequently, it's time to slow down. Start with one after breakfast and see how you feel after a week, then gradually increase to one after dinner. It's worth a shot because this product is so inexpensive. Nature's bounty is, of course, linked to puritan pride, so you can rest assured that you're getting top-notch products. If you really want to see results, don't forget to include tudca as well. br>Every day, my liver thanks me.
It's my fault for not reading the ingredients carefully enough, but these contain soybean oil, which is the cheapest and most obnoxious filler available. The bottle appears to be very similar to the one I usually purchase, which is why I was perplexed. I assumed they'd all be made with the same ingredients. Because soybean oil is a common allergen, I thought I'd write a review about it here as well.
I started taking this a few years ago when my liver numbers were high and it was suggested as a natural way to reduce them. br>br>This worked wonderfully, and my liver numbers returned to normal, and they have remained normal since, regardless of alcohol consumption, as long as I take one capsule before or after drinking. br>br>In the time between annual physicals, I didn't cut back on my alcohol consumption at all; the only change I made was to take this specific brand of milk thistle before or after drinking (the 1000 mg is also important). For years, wine bars across Europe have given patrons a milk thistle tablet with their first glass of wine to prevent liver damage and to lessen the severity of any possible hangover. br>br>These capsules also always help me sleep better and lessen the severity of my hangovers, which is another well-documented milk thistle benefit. I've never had any negative side effects, either. br>br>The expiration date was a long time ago, and the price was extremely reasonable. Based on my personal experience, even if you don't drink alcohol, I strongly recommend these as a natural sleep aid and for general liver health.
