Hello Gail, thanks for reaching out. There is no dairy, wheat, yeast, gluten, sugar, soy, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils in these capsules, according to their label. Although I've used this product for a long time, I'm switching to another brand because Pure recently sold out to Nestle and I am worried that they will not maintain the quality of Pure.
The amount of Vitamin D in my blood was extremely low and I had to take 50k vitamin D in order to raise my level to acceptable levels I was told to take an OTC of 5k by my doctor. The 38 level was maintained by many different brands. Since about a year ago, I have been using this. It didn't occur to me to get it checked again after a month because I felt more alert and in general better. When I went to get my bloodwork done, I requested that they check my D level as well, and low and behold, it's high. The number is a little too high (84) for me to take every night, so now I will just take the medicine once a week. There is one important point to keep in mind In response to another reviewer's advice, I took vitamin K in order to make this product more absorbable. Watch out! Watch out! Watch out! A blood coagulant, vitamin K increases the likelihood of blood clots in the body. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) caused me to develop a blood clot in my calf and caused me to develop a pulmonary embolism, which is life-threatening. However, it took a lot of courage to get through it. Vitamin D from Pure Encapsulations is an effective and potent supplement that can be absorbed without Vitamin K. I suggest taking it as it is and having your blood levels tested on a regular basis. You are in good hands!.
I will work on you. When it comes to supplements, don't cut corners. An athlete with congenital challenges who is 69 years old. In addition to scanning and blood tests, my longevity doctor utilizes micronutrient profiles from Quest, SpectraCell Laboratories and Cleveland Heart Lab. In general, I only use Jarrow Formulas and Pure Encapsulations because they have been proven to work in my body. As a result of great lab results, I've been known to purchase cheaper brands (only one at a time so I can see results), and have seen the lab results fall. There are many cheaper D3 supplements out there, but I have had disappointments with NOW, NatureWise, Nature's Bounty, and Life Extension. It's not so bad with Life Extension, but with the others, there are deficient levels of Vitamin D3 in the 40s (part per whatever), and Jarrow and Pure Encapsulations - those are the worst. The effect is the same, even at lower dosages I feel like I am in the 80s- It's the 1990s. 4 cents per pill may seem tempting compared to 24 cents, but the cheap version may put your life at risk. The negative comments on the other brands have been added to my article.
As a resident of the sun-deprived NW for many years, I've been reading up on vitamin D deficiencies. This is an amazing feat of mental & physical strength When I started taking Pures vitamin D, I felt a big difference in my health. Several of my friends who were able to stop taking their depressants reported success using them. As it turns out, they suffered from a severe lack of vitamin.
Something did not feel right as soon as I opened the bottle. There is a hole in the middle, as if someone stuck a thumb into Those who look at it. I like it! My learning curve is that I should not buy supplements from It is necessary to restrict vendors' products more effectively.
In the past, my daughter has been afflicted with Lyme disease. As long as she can remember, her vitamin D3 level was less than half of what it should have been. There were probably between 25 and 30 brands and levels of vitamin D3 we tested. During or after a few years of treatment, none of them lowered her levels. The doctor prescribed 10,000 IUs of Vitamin D3, so she took 50,000 IUs. There was something about that I didn't like. Concern and appreciation for your help were expressed to me Their reply was this Every week we go to the doctor and she has absorbtion problems.
I told her dr. I suspected she had absorbtion problems and he said we all do it every week. If we are going to make such a dramatic change, I would like to try another brand. When I asked my Lyme disease doctor what to do, she suggested trying The answer is yes. In just one month, she had more than doubled her Vitamin D3 level! The fact is, she was taking up to 5,000 IU of other brands without improvement when I provided her with 2,000 IU's. The only thing we will take is this.
Take two capsules in the morning with some fat or oil. As part of resuming 2 capsules / day for the treatment of prolonged heavy periods, as well as taking extra magnesium and temporarily reducing calcium intake, I had to increase my intake. I take an extra dose of iodoral iodine.
I do not take this D3 if I will be out in the sun for at least 30 minutes (no zinc oxide [DIY sunscreen] necessary). I found out D3 is more like a hormone than a vitamin as I did more research. In my experience, it definitely gives me a boost in energy or better Kreb's cycle/ATP utilization as per Dr. Berg. The K2 is taken separately with fatty foods as well for me, it's just a My skin has also been treated with other products. The liquid form is a combo form. So far, I have found this brand of D3 by Pure Encapsulations to be the best in quality. NOTE
If you look closely at other images here, you will see that the opening seal has just become stuck to the lid itself (with what seems to be glue), so it looks like it's already been opened once it's been pryed It is obvious that this is a packaging issue that PE has already solved. Quality is still intact. Best wishes for a healthy life!.
As someone with RA and chronic inflammation and muscular issues, my condition has made my life very challenging. I take a number of supplements that have helped, but it wasn't until I started taking D3 with B Complex that I saw major improvements in my condition. A few weeks ago, I forgot my identification card while on vacation. At a health food store in Lake Placid, I purchased this brand (along with many other health benefits). The brand also improved my sleep. I feel better rested as well as virtually pain free when I wake up with this product.
