The label on Amazon does not appear in its entirety which makes sense since the whole page is not displayed. This product provides 1100 mg of glucosamine chondroitin complex in two capsules. As well as 200mg of Vitamin C, 2 mg of Manganese, and 15 mg of sodium, this dose provides 200mg of Vitamin C. The pills I take continue to work for me, and I take them in the morning and at night. Natural Bounty has been part of my daily regimen for over 20 years, and I will continue to do so. Unlike some big name brands who lost their quality due to lowering costs, they consistently score highly in independent reviews.
A few years back, I developed knee osteoarthritis. I am 70 years old now. The sports medicine doctor recommended this supplement to me in 2013 and I have since been able to run, bike, or walk for at least an hour a day since taking it. My experience has been that glucosamine is not associated with any side effects and was taken with food always.
In fact, I was actually able to reduce swelling in a finger joint due to osteoarthritis because of the particular brand and ingredients. After taking 4 capsules a day for a week (recommended dosage is 6 capsules a day), I noticed an improvement. My finger appears straighter despite the fact that the joint is still larger than normal. External redness and pain from the joint have also reduced as well. As an added insult, I experienced heartburn after trying another brand of glucosamine-chondrotin. It made the joint swell, became very painful, and caused me stomach pain as well. These ingredients and the combination of active and inactive ingredients that are in this brand have been very helpful to me.
