The figures may appear shocking, but they aren't by any means significant. Consider "recommended" to be the bare minimum you require to avoid being classified as severely deficient. The doses are standard, and they're in "activated form," which means they're easier to absorb and of higher quality. This dosage is a good place to start, and it could even be doubled depending on your needs. Because b12 is poorly absorbed by the body, higher doses are required. The best form of b12 is sublingual. In any case, for a complex B vitamin, this is a good product with a good dosage.

I didn't check the amount of folic acid (folate) in this supplement that I purchased a few weeks ago. Pure Encapsulations is my go-to vitamin company, and I use them all the time, but this supplement had so much folic acid in it that I couldn't sleep at night because my feet hurt. I would not have known this could be a side effect if I hadn't read an article in Consumer Lab yesterday (randomly) that stated that a high folate intake (above 800 mcg daily) "dramatically increases the risk of peripheral neuropathy (often causing tingling, pain, and/or reduced sensation in the feet) in elderly people who have a common genetic variant in the TCN2 gene - which can be found in about one-third of the population a quarter of the senior population in the United States "This supplement contains 800 mcg, which was enough to push me over the edge into severe discomfort; I stopped taking it this morning, and my feet are already feeling much better. I'm going to give it back to you.
I looked into a number of B Complex formulas and found that this one is by far the most effective and bioavailable. Because of the MHTFR gene mutation, I am unable to process or methylate folic acid. These are fantastic! I take one or two first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and it does not upset my stomach at all. I've had bad luck with lower-quality B vitamins in the past, which upset my stomach and made me feel sick. I've had no issues with this brand, and I've been taking them for a while and have noticed a slight increase in energy (without the jitters) and overall well-being. Unlike any other B Complex, it is the most powerful. The only thing I don't like about them is that Nestle now owns them. Which is why I'll keep looking for a better or even equivalent formula. However, for the time being, these are clearly superior to the others I tried from Thorne, Douglas Labs, and Integrative Therapeutics (which is a close second).
Methyl B complexes always cause me to have a negative reaction, ranging from depression to anxiety to fatigue. Synethic B vitamins work reasonably well, but I was still looking for something better. This B complex provides me with a tremendous amount of clean energy and a clear mind. It also contains choline, inositol, and benfopure, which is a plus! This seems to be ideal for everyone, regardless of how you react to other formulations. Pure is a brand you can trust when it comes to quality. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this one.
My doctor prescribed this for me because I have trouble metabolizing B vitamins that aren't methylated. It meets my expectations.
This product was suggested because of its ease of absorption and gentleness on the stomach. I'm feeling a lot better now that I've taken this PureGenomics B Complex.
Unfortunately, I've found it to be significantly less effective. I'm not sure if it's because of vitamin quality or because of absorption. However, it falls short of the Integrative Therapeutics End Fatigue B complex in terms of effectiveness.
Wow, I really like this brand; it's powerful and lasts for about 5 hours. They last 6 hours, and I travel with them frequently, and they don't fall apart! For this one, I was able to substitute a few B vitamins. It's a good medium size, so you won't have any trouble swallowing it, and there are no unnecessary additives! I use a variety of products from this company; it's one of the few brands I trust, and my natural doctor highly recommends them!.
