Why is this product referred to as a gelatin capsule, despite the fact that it is labeled as a vegetarian cap on the bottle?

They do work, and I have proof of that, but I was diagnosed with thiamine deficiency a few years ago

This threw me for a loop because I was in the middle of a b- course. complex. I was advised to switch brands by the doctor. So I did it. br>br> I returned a month later to be retested and received a - shock - I had not yet recovered from my depression. br>br>The doctor frowned. I was told to switch brands and increase my dosage. br>br>A month later, the price is still low. br>br>At this point, he was becoming concerned, and I was becoming irritated. STILL LOW after buying the most expensive thiamine at the health food store and taking 4 times the recommended dose. br>br>It took me six tries to get Solaray to work. I was taking two 500's at the same time, and it FINALLY worked. (This saved me months of medical hell and bills because the doctor was about to go off on a series of very expensive tests and exploration. )br>br>This is the ONLY brand of thiamine that I *know* actually works. It was something I did for a long time. br>br>So why did I give it a one-star rating? Because they stopped making the 500s, and now I have to take TEN of them every day. This is a significant burden when added to my other medications. Now I'm having a hard time motivating myself to do it. I only try because I'm afraid to switch brands after what I've been through, but I despise it so much that I'm ready to just accept it and live with thiamine deficiency for the rest of my life.

Great Advantage! Because I have a problem with fever blisters on my face, my nurse suggested that I take vitamin B

B1 is used to help you relax

I take these about two hours before I leave my second-shift job so that I can unwind and fall asleep more easily. B1 acts in a variety of ways depending on the individual. These help me relax and fall asleep more easily, as well as aid digestion (in conjunction with digestive enzymes). br>B1 can give you energy, which is what I was hoping for at first, but it didn't work for me. I'd advise you to look up what B1 is used for on the internet.

It's worthwhile, but it's also prohibitively expensive

I'm required to take a B- grade. I take one every day because I'm too tasty for bugs; tablets taste so bad that these capsules are well worth the extra money. It's worth it to avoid the (albeit minor) punishment on a daily basis.
