Because of what I read online, I bought Vitamin B1 so that I wouldn't get bitten by mosquitoes. There is a mosquito problem in my neighborhood because we are close to a nature preserve. Every week, there are trucks called to eradicate mosquitoes in our neighborhood. During last year's bug season, I had at least 20 bites, and they were itchy, hurting, and bleeding. It hasn't been proven yet that Vitamin B prevents bites, but I thought it was worth a try after reading about it online. The day before yesterday, we were swimming outside. My son's girlfriend got two bites on the face while in the pool, and my husband got three bites on his legs which he never gets. It was flying around me, but I never felt a bite! My husband told me that if I wear a B1 I will have a headache and will not This is not true, I take one in the morning and sleep quite well Only downside I have noticed is sometimes I get Vitamin burps during the morning, but it is well worth the effort.
