DMAE is available in two forms: Amine and Bitatrate are two different types of amino acids. Amine is the pure form of DMAE and has a pH of well over 7, which can cause severe skin reactions. To avoid this, it must be neutralized, usually by binding it with citric acid compounds. Bitatrate is a pH-balanced form of the compound that does not irritate or harm the skin. The directions on the container say to take it orally, but you can also mix it with your favorite skin care product or spritz it on your face and neck and let it air dry. It's incredible, and DMAE Bitartrate is the way to go if you want to give it a shot.

I've tried a few different DMAE brands in the past, and I've noticed things like improved concentration, reduced sleep need (when combined with melatonin), and increased skin tightness/smoothness (when taken orally, never tried topically). Even when taking mega doses of nutricosts DMAE bitartrate, I experienced no side effects. br>br>In the past, I've purchased high-quality, effective products from Nutricost, such as Citrulline, AAKG, and other pre-workout supplements that gave me great pumps. Otherwise, I believe the company sells high-quality, effective products, so don't dismiss the entire line of products based on this one product review. This particular product was ineffective in my opinion.
I suppose the best way to describe it is as brain fog. When I tried DMAE on its own, it seemed to work well; the fog dissipated in less than six hours, and I wasn't taking anything else to aid my memory at the time. br>There are a variety of mix-and-match items available to aid your memory. In fine powder form, it tastes like lime-salt, which I think is a good thing. It took about two weeks for me to feel the full benefits, and they are much more noticeable than other supplements I've tried.
