To have continued taking zinc would have increased my risk of contracting macular degeneration, which my father had for many years before he passed away. I was told by my doctor to take this Beta Carotene supplement in order to protect my eyesight with this information. Two capsules per day with food are taken for me. The following is today's update from May 24 Floaters in my left eye were something I was aware of, at the time I wrote the review on March 13. It is with great pleasure that I can report that the floater seems to have virtually disappeared after 10 weeks.
