An optometrist with whom I have worked for many years diagnosed enlarged optic nerves in both my eyes (22 and 24 mm thickness) about six years ago. For treatment of glaucoma, an eye surgeon was sent to my office. I have been seeing my eye surgeon for the past six years, and each year, I am put through the painful glaucoma tests. I experience glaucoma after I have been living with it for 3 years. It means that I have thickened my optic nerves. My eyes were damaged as glaucoma developed, and I was unable to stop the process despite coming into contact with the pharmaceutical eye drops, which were toxic and did nothing but cause more harm to my eyes. Finally, I found a new eye doctor 3 years ago who recommended this Life Extension supplement. The thickness of my optic nerves slowly returned to normal after I took these supplements for two years with meals daily (3 caps one x 3). There was no way I could I recently saw my eye surgeon. After performing her tests, she said that my optic nerves thickness is now between 10 and 12, which is normal for my age. My mom suffers from wet macular degeneration, so I bought this product for her. Her doctor prescribed most of the vitamins and components in this medicine. However, since so many people had posted positive reviews, I decided to purchase them for her. Her head started hurting from the first day she took them and the discomfort was limited to one eye. Having taken 12 of these pills, she realized that it could have been this medicine causing her eye to be red, closing, and suffering from very high pressure, as if it was going to explode. In as little as a day or two after stopping the softgels, she began to improve. It is possible that this was the case. The 4 I bought were taken to Colombia. Am I able to return them for a refund if I take them back? Bringing this to your attention is all I wanted to say.
Macuguard is the only supplement my mom has been taking for almost a year and her doctor recommends it for macular degeneration. After doing some research, I found it and she has been taking it for almost a year now. She has not shown any signs of macular degeneration in her last checkup! My purchases will be made from this brand in the future.
I was disappointed in the expiration date of both bottles with 120 soft gels because they are due to expire in the Fall of 2021. In February 2022, the expiration date for my last bottle of the manufacturer's brand was. This will not work for me again if it happens again with the current seller.
