I'm not sure how this can be a "cleaner" while also being able to insert lenses like saline? Isn't it a slap in the face?

I've been wearing contacts for more than a decade and developed an allergy to a particular brand of contact solution a few years ago. BioTrue was recommended by my doctor, and I've had no issues since. The reaction to the other brand I was using was what caused the white dots in my vision. That information might be useful to the general public, my wife and I reasoned. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I'm still using BioTrue solution on my disposable contacts three years after I wrote that review. So far, the only issue I've noticed is a faulty contact case. It was, however, without cost.
Before you can wear your lenses, you must soak them for at least 4 hours. I've been using OptiFree solution (along with ReNu and other brands) for several years, and my eyes have recently become more irritated and dry earlier in the day. So I decided to try a new solution, and so far, it's been absolutely perfect!br>br>My eyes are more comfortable and moisturized than they have been in the past. I wore my contacts for about 22 hours straight while awake, and they didn't get too dry at the end, which was a pleasant surprise. That's a significant step forward! I really like this solution and would recommend it to anyone who wants their contact lenses to be more comfortable. Due to the small size of these bottles, they run out much faster than I'm used to, so I'm going to look into larger sizes.
Purchases should be avoided. For the past 13 years, I've worn contact lenses and have always used Opti free (purchased in Europe!). I've never had an issue with my contact lenses or my eyes before. I recently relocated to the United States, and while searching for a solution, I noticed that Biotrue had a high rating on Amazon, so I decided to give it a shot. br>I've been using it for 6 months. It has now been 8 months. My eyes are burning and always dry whenever I put contact lenses in. I've never thought it was the solution; I've always assumed it was the lenses or something else, or that I had dry eyes, and so on. But, since I've started wearing new lenses every day (I usually change my lenses once a month) and still don't feel any better, it has to be the answer! This is something I will never buy again.
Because my eyes are sensitive, I have to be very careful with the saline I use. br>br>If this isn't available, I use Bausch and Lomb Sensitive Eyes. That's more comfortable for my eyes, but my optometrist told me that this solution has better anti-bacterial properties. bacterial properties, making it more suitable for long-term use. It irritates my eyes slightly, but unlike many other alternatives, I am able to get over it fairly quickly in the morning. br>br>So, if you're a sensitive person, I think it's worth picking up a bottle and trying this stuff out.
It definitely aids in the relief of my dry eyes! After only 6-months, I had to take out my soft lenses. My eyes were so dry that I had to wear them for 7 hours. I can tell a significant difference in the wearability and comfort of my lenses after using Biotrue for an entire bottle. This is my go-to all-in-one contact solution, so no more Opti Free and Saline Solution for me. br>br>In addition, I do not rub the lenses at night, but I do rub and rinse them with Biotrue before putting them in the morning.
I'm a dry eye sufferer who uses Acuve Oasys. BioTrue has a unique ph balance formula. I can wear my lenses for longer periods of time with fewer problems--I don't have to rewet them every day, and I can tell they don't irritate my eyes as much when I put them in. My eyes adjust in a fraction of the time, which I highly recommend. Since receiving this, I've kept a full bottle of OptiFresh that I haven't touched. This is a truly miraculous solution.
br>br>Update: Within hours of starting to use this brand, my right eye began to dry out to the point where my vision became blurry. I initially assumed it was my contact lenses, so I replaced them, but the problem reappeared. I even tried swapping the lenses, putting the dry one in my left eye and the wet one in my right. My right eye continued to dry out and become very blurry, so that didn't work either. br>br>I thought to myself, "What recent changes have I made that could explain this?" Only this product has changed; I was using another brand until I ran out and decided to try this one. I'm having so many problems right now that as soon as I get paid again, I'm going back to my old brand and never using Biotrue again! I can only hope that it isn't causing permanent eye damage. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I realized I still have some travel-related expenses as I awaited my order for another brand. In my bathroom, I have a Renu of this size. I took that contact out, washed it in the Renu, and reinserted it because my eye is once again so dry that I'm seeing blurry. So far, the dryness has been kept to a minimum. Aside from that, I have a small business. To aid in my recovery, I have a humidifier next to me. This Biotrue formula HAS to be the source of the problem. I now have one. I'll have to throw away 5 bottles. Money well spent.
Because I have extremely sensitive eyes, I occasionally have to take a break from wearing contacts for a few days to give my eyes a break from the chemicals in lens cleaners. However, with this product, I can wear my contacts whenever I want without worrying about chemical buildup or reactions. I would strongly suggest it.
