I gave it a low rating because, regardless of whether the ingredient is what it claims to be, it appears to provide far less quantity than what it claims. The first thing you notice is that none of the capsules are completely filled, which is irrelevant if the amount contained is correct. I got a food scale and emptied all the capsules into a sandwich zipper-lock bag after taking a couple as a test. To weigh all of the capsules (minus 2), seal a baggie and weigh them all. The ornithine alone is supposed to weigh 120 grams (1000mg x 120) without the plastic sandwich bag, all the gelatin capsules, and the fillers (magnesium stearate and rice powder), so the whole thing should have weighed well over 120 grams. Instead, using an Etek kitchen scale (Amazon B0113UZJE2), the entire thing weighed only 95 grams (see photo), which is undoubtedly a few grams off but not over an ounce off the true weight (120 gm ornithine [minus weight of 2 pills] pill fillers 120 gel caps plus plastic sandwich bag). Even though one of the capsules was half-filled, there were about 120 pills in the bottle, so it wasn't a problem. It was shattered, and the powder was all over the place.

It's a good thing L- exists. Ornithine!br>I was halfway through a three-month parasite cleanse when I came across this. I had a day where I was quite ill. I looked into it. This was discovered to be beneficial in lowering ammonia levels. I'm at the end of my last month and I'm in great shape! This product was not available in any of the local stores.

It gave me a nice boost of energy and clarity the first time I took it. I didn't get the same boost after that, and I'm not sure if that means it "cleared" whatever needed to be cleared, or if my brain quickly became accustomed to it.

It's not of good quality. On September 9, I received my order. When I first opened the bottle, these were the first three pills that popped out. Production quality is poor.
