Hurricane has 20% Benzocaine, and I use the wild cherry type of it. It's also very effective. It came highly recommended by my hospital.
Yes, I believe it can be used on the face, but I would avoid using it around the eyes.

This stuff is incredible. If you're like me and your upper teeth are prone to breaking, you'll be concerned about severe tooth pain at any time. Keep a jar of this on hand, along with some qtips, and you'll be fine until you can get to a dentist. br>br>Plus, a small amount can numb a quarter section of your jaw, so 1oz. It has a long shelf life.
My husband was suffering from excruciating toothache. It's the stuff that nightmares are made of! It really works. Because of my fibromyalgia, I occasionally experience nerve pain in all of my teeth. All of that obnoxious nonsense is no longer an issue. It quickly numbs you.

It was swollen and painful at first (if I'm going to bite myself, I'm going to bite myself REALLY hard lol), but it completely healed after a few days of use. I can't say enough good things about this product, and I'm not sure where it's been all my life.
I bought it to numb my throat for the pain of throat cancer, but it burns too much for that. br>However, I work in a dental office, and it works great for numbing your gums.
This is the most effective way to relieve tooth pain. Until you can get an appointment with a dentist. I'm glad they've added a new cherry flavor to their lineup - had an aged taste to it - It's a huge improvement!.
