Then, almost instantly, all hell broke loose, and she was in excruciating pain. Eugenol (clove oil) doesn't agree with her, but we needed something fast, so I picked this up, expecting it to perform similarly to oragel - To put it another way, you can make it bearable if you reapply it frequently. Because I had some bad experiences with dentists when I was younger, and I have a fairly high pain tolerance, I have multiple teeth in states of severe decay, with exposed nerves. Until recently, I used eugenol to help with these, but I heard you shouldn't use eugenol near exposed nerves, it wasn't helping all that much at this point anyways, and frankly, eugenol is unpleasant enough to use that I couldn't stand using it as frequently, so since we'd already ordered this stuff for my wife, I decided to give it a shot. This stuff worked incredibly well for both of us. br>br> br>br>* It has a pleasant flavor that reminds me of the artificial flavoring in candy. I didn't detect any "medicine-like" flavor. br>* It has a consistency that is halfway between gel and softened wax. When it comes into contact with saliva, it melts away, but it stays put long enough to get it where you need it without numbing half of your face like other less viscous products. br>* The relief comes quickly and lasts for a long time. After accidentally biting down on a piece of food with one of my bad teeth and instantly going from "eye watering pain" to "perfectly fine" with a tiny bit of Huricaine, I decided to write this review. It's been 30 minutes, and the pain hasn't returned. Amazing! br>* I was surprised at how long a jar of this stuff lasted. We've had this jar for about two months and there's still plenty left despite frequent use. It's also the perfect size for a medicine cabinet. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that A dental spade for leveling fillings was included in a set of dental tools I purchased on Amazon. To avoid contaminating the bottle with my finger or getting cotton fibers in it from swabs, I use that tool to scoop out a small amount of Hurricaine. This product adheres well to the tool, making application simple and virtually mess-free.
This is a much better deal than Oragel because it tastes better and you only need a small amount. Being a gel is more manageable. I have an ongoing oral surgery problem and use this product on a daily basis, so it lasts me months. My ENT doctor told me about it because it's something they use in their office and it's helped me save a lot of money. Cherry is my favorite flavor.
I had a broken tooth with exposed nerves and needed something to take the edge off the pain while I waited for my insurance to pay for the treatment. My procedure was approved. This is what works. It lasts a lot longer than store-bought gels. This is what your dentist will use to numb your gums before giving you novacaine.
which has a cherry flavor to it. This watermelon isn't even close to being a watermelon. I mean, it gets the job done! Everything else becomes numb as a result of this! It just doesn't have the same flavor as watermelon.
In a matter of minutes, the pain was gone. It soothed an irritated nerve, according to the dentist.
Dental implants and a sinus lift were performed on me. It made a significant difference in terms of pain relief.
First, read the instructions; the flavor is excellent. I'm looking for a substitute for a bubblegum-flavored kids oragel that I can't seem to find.
My daughter broke a molar and her dentist appointment isn't for another two months, so I was extremely pleased with the product. She is now pain-free for the time being. Thank you. It was well worth the wait.
