My dentist would tell me that fluoride is effective, but that killing bad bacteria with mouthwash, as well as careful brushing and flossing, are also important in preventing cavities. br>br>Of course, if no preventive measures are taken, a lot of sweets and sugary drinks exacerbate the problem. So, I'd say the mouthwash is beneficial, but there are other factors to consider. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

I've finished one bottle and am nearly finished with the second. My gums no longer bleed when I brush and floss, and they are no longer painful. I believe it has gradually improved my gum health. So that's a plus. However, I discovered that I began to lose my appetite as a result of a change in my sense of taste. off. I discovered that the mouthwash was the source of the problem. I used it at night, and the next day my tongue felt numb and things tasted bland; also, I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but there are clumps of mouthwash stuck between my teeth and all over my mouth after I rinse and spit. There are some in the sink as well. It clumps for no apparent reason. Anyway, I've been using it since I bought a four-pack. It does help my gums, and I now wipe my tongue with a napkin after using it to ensure that less of it remains on my tongue and does not numb it. It's helped a little, but I'm not sure I'll buy it again once I'm done with the pack.
I was schtuckled yet again. . . . The volume numbers were not read by me. These aren't the same size as the ones you'd find in a store. The product is excellent, but the value is not.
I had some early signs of gingivitis, so I bought this as part of my new dental hygiene routine. br>br>I tried some a couple of days ago, and my first experience was an intense burning sensation in my mouth. I didn't expect much from mouthwash (though the container and description claim that it won't burn like other mouthwashes). br>br>When I went to brush later that evening, the toothpaste felt and tasted like bland petroleum gelly. br>br>At first, I thought I had COVID-related illness. I was concerned because I had recently been in contact with someone who had tested positive, so I used it more to reduce any potential viral load. br>br>I had my blood drawn and the results were negative, so I was a little perplexed. Food was becoming increasingly bland, and I couldn't feel the sting of my toothpaste. br>br>That's when I looked up "mouthwash taste loss" on Google and found this exact product! You'd think Crest would make it clear that their mouthwash can cause tongue blindness, but it's hidden deep within their FAQs. Apparently, their mouthwash contains cetylpyridinium chloride, which causes taste buds to die in a small percentage of the population. br>br>While the FAQs claim that taste returns "typically" soon after stopping, there have been horror stories of people losing their gustatory acuity for months or longer. It only takes one rinse to cause sensory loss. br>br>Are you still skeptical? You can look it up on the internet. This product should not be sold without a warning label. EDIT: br>br> After a week, the sense of taste returns (though it is still diminished). There is still no taste at the tip of my tongue or on my cheeks—yes, cheeks have taste buds—and I will update when more information becomes available. EDIT 2: br>br> After about two weeks, all of my senses were restored. Because I don't have a baseline, it's difficult to assess any permanent loss, but I'd still avoid it.
There was no value to be found. For such small bottles, the price is not justified. I won't be buying anything else.
It doesn't burn or irritate my mouth nearly as much as other mouthwashes I've tried. For those of you who want to read the labels, I snapped a few photos of the product. I would suggest it.
bottles and they were all good except for the price. At the bug box store, you can get the same product for a lot less money.
For many years, I've relied on Crest ProHealth mouthwash. It has always treated me well. There's a light peppermint flavor to it. It's alcohol-free, but that doesn't mean it's not going to burn. It doesn't have as much of a burn as Listerine, but it does have a burn that gets worse the longer it's in your mouth.
It does the job, but don't expect to taste anything for at least 3 hours afterward. Use before going to bed. The bottles are small, and I'm to blame for not checking the ingredients, but this product contains parabens. I'm almost finished with it, and then I'll look at the ingredients and size of another product before purchasing it.
