She's also from a different state. Furthermore, the closest Beauty Supply store is a longer distance away (I live in a predominantly white area). That's just part of being black in the middle of nowhere, I suppose. br>br>Hence the title; I'm writing this review on behalf of all my black women who shop on Amazon for hair products and tools. Initially, I was hesitant to purchase this product because all of the glowing reviews were written by white people who already had semi-permanent semi-permanent semi-permanent semi-permanent semi-permanent semi-permanent Hair that is straight and frizz-free. Meanwhile, I'm on the other side of my laptop, wondering if this thing can use a silk press to make my hair bone silky straight (rather than stiff straight). This comb, ladies, did an excellent job of achieving the look I desired. I was expecting my hair to become straight as a result of it. However, the movement is stiff and lacks silkiness. It, however, was successful. br>br>So, for all of my black ladies out there, make sure you get this comb if you want silky hair with a pressed bounce.

It was purchased so that I could cut my hair with a straight edge. Most other combs have thin teeth on one end and thicker teeth on the other, with the teeth's heights angled. Both areas of this comb are uniform. When you use it on wet hair, the results are better. Regardless, it's a good choice for chopping bangs.
This was purchased for a single purpose. I have a two-year-old daughter, and I have to remove her beads and braids from time to time. Before I could progress from being completely incapable of understanding this process to being moderately adept at figuring out how it works, I had to resort to calling my mother. Purchasing this comb has been extremely beneficial to me. This is a miracle worker for 4c. I can cut my daughter's hair in under an hour (if she isn't moving), which may seem like a long time to some, but it makes me feel like a superhero. Anyway, I've used it a few times now and it seems to be holding up well to the way I've been using it; I'd say it's fairly durable. It is unquestionably worthwhile to purchase.
I bought several combs before finding one that had good teeth. I've read the reviews about broken teeth, but after weeks of use, I've yet to experience this. Although the plastic is rigid, it is not brittle. What I like best about these combs is that they don't bend or have any of the rough seams that you get with consumer-grade combs. These combs have the appearance of being made by a professional hairstylist. I've attached a tag to the rat tail end of one of the combs to remind me that it's for my short-haired cat, and I use the other four for myself. I'm going to buy a second set of five as a backup just because I like the quality and hope future batches don't have the brittle quality mentioned in the 2019 comments. For longer hair or to keep a beard in good shape, I highly recommend these combs. To keep my beard soft and looking good, I use these combs in conjunction with a lightly oiled boar's brush (I realize these are primarily styling combs, but I like the quality).
I like this comb a lot! In the past, I've always used a Conair version, and the comb's teeth have a tendency to bend over time. The plastic is flimsier and the quality isn't as good as it could be, but it's always easy to find in the store. I decided to look on Amazon for a new fine tooth comb to make my ponytails look more "sleek" and hopefully help with the frizzy baby hairs that would appear after I pulled my hair back. This was an excellent opportunity. This is the best comb I've ever owned in terms of quality. It is not flimsy and is extremely durable. When I use it to comb through my hair, it doesn't leave it frizzy. I'll probably buy another one or two just in case I need them, such as when I'm traveling. I would strongly suggest it.
I've had plastic pintail combs before, but this is the first time I've seen a stainless steel pintail comb. I had no idea what I was missing until I used it, and I'm in love with the precision that the stainless tip provides. This was an excellent opportunity.
Comb is fantastic! This is a huge help for me when it comes to coloring my hair at home. The metal "rat-catcher" I can separate small amounts of hair for high or low-volume applications by using the "tail" end. color of the lighting I've used it a couple of times now, and the metal hasn't discolored.
Fine-Toothed Combs on the Tail This is my second set of combs; they're great if you want fine-toothed combs with a rat-tail design. I bought a second pack because my kids kept "borrowing" them from my bathroom. The tail is sharp, which is useful for me; however, small children should be avoided. I joked about my kids "borrowing" them, but I wouldn't leave them unattended with younger children.
