To the client: br>Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. br>It's only the pin tail that's made of metal; the black part is made of carbon material that's heat resistant and anti-static.
That's strange. I bought this a few months ago before I had prime and had no problems with it.
I don't know about you, but who doesn't like a pompadour? If you don't go big, you might as well not go at all.
The tail isn't bendable in any way. It's made of metal and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as parting.

comb your tail! When protective styling my daughter's 3c/4a hair, I bought this to part her hair. It arrived last week, and I used it for the first time last night to make some simple puffs. With the fine metal tip, it was SO much easier to get a straight part than with either of our bone rat-like tools. tail comb or rat-shaped plastic rat-shaped rat-shaped plastic rat-shaped plastic tail pic. I'm not sure if I'll use the actual comb-- My hair and my little girl's hair are both too fine-toothed for it. The metal tail, on the other hand, is one of my favorite features. It's ideal for the purpose for which I purchased it. And I was sold on this comb because it comes with a felted case that protects the comb from breaking, the people who handle it from being stabbed, and the surfaces and other tools from being scratched or stabbed while it's in storage. Thank you for providing such a useful tool.
It's packaged in a sturdy, protective case. The metal pin aids in the creation of clean parts, and the comb is durable. (Don't worry about the front bangs; they were slept in on the other side. ).
One was purchased for Top Knot, one of my standard poodles. When parting her hair, the rat glides through it without snagging or catching. br>br>I bought a second one so it's in a few different places around the house and I don't have to look for it in the mornings or from the other end. br>br>Even though it's small, it's still easy to hold for my arthritic hands, especially in the mornings. br>br>The case is nice and keeps it safe while also making it easier to find and pick up. The rat tail is extremely thin, and it will pass right through the felt type case's end. I suppose I use the case to protect the rat tail, but it's probably designed to protect the comb teeth more.
I adore this comb; it's one of the best I've ever used in the shower for brushing through my hair, removing hair from my hair brush, and parting and styling my hair. Everything is in working order, and the product's quality is excellent. Because I have curly hair, finding combs that don't break while combing it is difficult. However, because I don't use heat on my hair, I'm not sure how heat affects this product. For all other services, I recommend this product to all hair types.
This comb was purchased solely on the basis of the listing's anti-static claim. This is not the case. br>br>My hair is fine and thin. It's ridiculously long, and I curl it with a curling wand when I wear it down, so I'll need a good comb to section it off. I also require a comb that can be used to lift the roots and add volume. br>br>This is a nice comb, and it's a lot more durable than the little plastic one I was using before. However, it has no effect on the static. I'm still having to wet it down on a regular basis. I also can't seem to get it to dry. Nothing is more annoying than curling stubborn hair and then combing it with a wet comb! br>br>In addition, the rat tail pick on the end is lethal. Although it comes in a sleeve, the pointy end will pierce right through it.
The comb appears to be in good condition. The point at the end isn't as sharp as it should be. It should not be a ball at the end because it is used to make straight parts in your hair. This small part took me a long time to make, and it's still not straight. Unfortunately, I still prefer to part my hair with my pen.
I'm also having to go through her hair sessions because of the pandemic's home isolation. br>br>She purchased it primarily for styling purposes, and she claims that it is particularly useful for parting hair when using straightening/curling irons. However, untangling is a difficult task. I break a lot of hair if I use this without first using my regular comb.
Now I'm trying to grow it out, but I'd forgotten how difficult it is to make a straight part, and I also need something to section my hair while I learn to use a flat iron. I figured a comb with a very thin tail, like this one, would help me with both problems, and it did! It performs exactly as I had hoped! Unfortunately, anything that has the potential to go wrong usually does. The package was sent in a thin bubble envelope with the tail bent by the carrier. Although I was able to bend it back most of the way, it does not appear to be a brand new tool. If you're as lucky as I was, yours will arrive in perfect condition. Alternatively, the seller may notice this post and begin including a few pieces of cardboard in the envelope to protect the product.
