Questions & Answers
The comb's fineness or coarseness is determined by the 9T. A Kent comb with the designation 9T has nine teeth per inch, according to my calculations.
I'm not sure what the answer is. My hair is long and straight, and I use the comb to comb it without using any product!
They are made entirely by hand in the United Kingdom. br>br>If you're worried about their quality, rest assured that they're excellent. My beard is combed with two different sizes of Kent combs, which are the smoothest combs I've ever owned.

I had no idea such a simple comb could offer so many options. For years, my husband and I have shared the same combs. That isn't to say that our old combs weren't useful. We simply reasoned that as long as everything was intact - It was a comb, it was a comb, it was a comb, it was a comb, it Our old combs have gone to the garbage now that we have each received a Kent 9T 7 1/2" 192 mm Handmade Coarse and Fine Toothed Sawcut Comb from Amazon. These new combs are sturdy but not massive, and they do not scratch the delicate head in the least. They'll probably last another 5 years or more, based on their durability. They have a lovely marbled look to them. These combs are easy to use even in the hands of women; Yes, the combs are a little pricey, but when you consider their durability, design, attractiveness, and effectiveness, they are truly a DEAL that you can't pass up. And, at the end of the story, we're all going to order another one, or two, for travel bags and other purposes.
I was looking for a comb that was superior to the standard hard rubber or plastic combs available at drugstores. That's what this one does. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
1. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. You're not going to put this in your back pocket (and I wasn't planning on it either).
2. The (tines? )large and wide ) are beautifully finished and extremely comfortable to use. They are, however, quite large. br>3. I thought the "fine" teeth would be better for my fine hair, but they were not as comfortable for me. I wouldn't call them sharp, but they do feel like they're scratching my scalp unless I'm very careful to keep the comb's angle as low as possible.
4. Because it's made of graphite, the comb is quite stiff, and I'm afraid of breaking it if I try to bend it to test its stiffness. In any case, that has been my experience. I'm still considering trying one of their other products to see if it's more suitable for my needs.
I'm a little disappointed that I didn't know about Kent when I bought this comb 50 years ago. Next, I'm going to get my husband one of the smaller Kent pocket combs, which I actually bought for him because he's always breaking teeth out of the supposedly 'unbreakable' combs I buy for him. I like how this feels in my hair when I comb it, so I'll definitely need another one so I can switch it out. This is a high-quality item that would make a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates a great comb. It is also very easy to use. If you're like me and have trouble visualizing 192 mm and can't be bothered to look for a ruler that displays inches on one edge and mm on the other, I'll be happy to assist you. It's about 7 1/2 inches long and wide. I just realized Google is faster, but it's what it is. I hope you found this information useful. Thank you for taking the time to read this!.
Wow! I had no idea what I had been missing out on. It was a good investment. The only reason I clicked on the listing was to figure out why this comb was so expensive; I couldn't understand how one comb could be so much better than the cheaper combs I'd been using for over 5 years. I bought it because I needed an answer, and now I know why. The extra weight gives the comb more heft, making it easier to maneuver through your hair. Odd snags and tugs are avoided due to the lack of sharper edges combined with the weight of the product, which smooths out tangles and allows for more precise styling. The bristle spacing is also very good. Both sides of the comb are equally useful, as one side straightens and the other aids in tighter styling without leaving hair too tangled. The quality and functionality have blown me away. If you style your hair frequently, the extra money is well worth it. Comb is fantastic!.
You can tell right away that this isn't your typical mass-produced garbage! As one would expect from a high-end handmade grooming tool, the comb is rigid, balanced, beautifully made, and appropriately weighted. My go-to beard detangler is without a doubt this. I had to purchase a special beard brush, which worked perfectly until my beard reached three inches in length. The bristles couldn't get through the long, coarse hair any longer. Heavy-duty tines that could easily glide through my long facial fescue were required. Even though my beard is now twice as long, this comb fits the bill perfectly because it creates very little friction. I've bought three so far and keep one at work, at home, and in my vehicles. Perfection in every way!.
