It was most likely taken from buffalo that had been slaughtered for meat. They didn't just sit around waiting for them to die in a field, did they?
Ox Horn is used for the teeth, and wood is used for the handle. It's the ideal comb for detangling hair. It was used by my girlfriend to wash her hair in the shower.
I DID WAIT TOO LONG, I DON'T KNOW.

When I use a brush, I always get a lot of static in my hair. My hair is extremely fine, and when brushed with a standard plastic hair brush, it sticks out like a balloon. Since purchasing this comb, I haven't had that issue. This comb also makes my hair feel smoother and less prone to falling out. I really like the scent of the sandalwood handle, and I'm happy with my purchase. If something happens to the one I have now, I will gladly buy another. I might even buy one just to keep in my carry-on bag so I don't forget it.
The first red sandalwood comb smells like it was used to wipe someone's butt and then stuffed back into the bag. The most revolting odor I've ever encountered in a "new" product. The comb was then opened, and it reeked of burned hair. I'm not sure what's up, but I'm not going to buy another. Comb has a foul odor that reminds me of feces. br>br>**As a result, Amazon sent me a new set of combs, which smelled exactly like human poop. I'm not sure what's up with the manufacturing, but these aren't meant to be near a face. BEWARE**.
The following are reasons why I like this comb: It has a handle (though it could be a little longer), the tines are close together, and when you wet the tines, they make your hair wet when you comb it, which many combs don't. They have a nice appearance (plastic wood-like). with a black handle and black tines The only complaint I have is that I ordered two of these combs, and the plastic wood-grain combs were not as good as the wood-grain combs. Each comb's handles appeared to be a completely different color - one of them was a medium-sized piece of wood One is a bright, cheerful color, while the other is a dark, obnoxious wood. looking for a color However, I don't feel like returning the second comb because it is in good working order.
I like the size and concept, but there are saw marks in between the teeth, and it isn't polished or clear coated like other ox horn combs I've bought in the past; if it were, this would be an ideal comb.
This is a fantastic beard comb. The comb's handle is well-balanced in the hand, and the comb's head is a good size for easily brushing the beard's larger surface. The only drawback is that it does not work with a blow dryer. The protective coating on the comb will immediately melt if it is exposed to heat. I recommend using a low or no-heat setting.
When I use this comb, I'm not just thinking about combing my hair. It stimulates my scalp, I think. I'm not going to change my mind.
THIS COMBINATION IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. I CAN SAFELY COMB OUT THE TANGLES AFTER WASHING MY HAIR WITHOUT DAMAGING MY THIN, FINE HAIR. I APPRECIATE THE CURVED HANDLE, AS IT IS EASY TO GRASP. I'M READY TO GO IN THE MORNING WITH JUST A COUPLE OF SWIFT COMBINGS. br>br>I LOVE THIS COMB SO MUCH THAT I'M GETTING TWO MORE AS GIFT FOR MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY.
This is by far the best comb I've ever used. For the past four years, I've been growing a beard. This is the first comb I've used that hasn't ripped tangles from my beard, and the handle feels great in your hand and isn't at all awkward to use. br>br>The wood does change color as the product description claims, which is kind of cool because mine does, too, depending on how humid the bathroom is and which type of oil I used and combed through on a daily basis. br>br>I would strongly recommend this comb to anyone looking for their first comb or a replacement for an old favorite.
