Because his sister did it, he bit all the toys as well as his baby sister. Neither of his parents chewed any items on him as an infant (one of the first signs of sensory issues by the way). It seems that jealousy has made him copy the ways of his baby. Biting/chewing this worked very well as a way to differentiate him from other things he bites and chews. The little boy wore it for a full hour (he turns 3 this month).
However, not everyone will benefit from it. It was so exciting to get these for my kids. They are really good quality, too! "But," you say. I don't like how thick they are. This was so difficult for my son with SPD to chew on. It would be helpful for him to chew on his shirt since he usually does that. In the end, he was back to his clothes and gave up trying to chew on it.

It's no secret that my son likes to chew quite a bit. Possibly two weeks was the length of their stay. By chewing these up from the bottom he was able to chew them in sections.
This is what I bought for my 2 & 4 year olds Young children of 4 years old. tough and do not have any extending or jutting parts that kids would be likely to chew off and choke on (as is the case with other sensory chews I viewed and read reviews for). What a great idea! It would have been nice if they had more color choices to choose from. The purchase overall was a good purchase for our family, and we would buy from them.
