This type of exercise would be great for occupational therapy
5/5

My Occupational Therapist suggested that I get my own green egg to do exercises on my own at home since I have arthritis in my left thumb and wrist. She uses this in her practice with her patients. My doctor told me that if I strengthen my hands, I can delay the worsening of the current mild case of arthritis that I have. The thought of arthritis interfering with my playing was very much distressing to me, but he encouraged me to focus on strengthening my hands. There are a lot of tools for achieving that goal, but this green egg seems to be one of the most effective. I find it to be terrific little tool that is very In any case, mine arrived without any odors at all.

I like to squeeze it very much There is an odd plastic smell
4/5

The first thing to say is that these are awesome. As far as I'm concerned, they've been excellent. The bad smell in the room made me give this 4 stars instead of 5. These eggs have a bad/toxic smell, likely from the materials used to manufacture them. Since I have only had them for a day, the smell is still quite strong, so I am hoping it will soon go away. There may only be a need to let it air out for longer. If manufacturers looked for other ways to make things without things like these and bad smelling chemicals, that would be great. Additionally, you may wonder how safe it is to wear or breathe, etc. (Not a big deal for these little eggs, and nothing to be too concerned about if you are considering buying these, but even so, I wanted to mention it. Green and blue are the perfect colors. If you're wondering what level you need It's no problem for me to squeeze the green to about half its girth since I'm a 30 year old female with average/weaker strength. Since the blue is firmer, I can comfortably squeeze down to about a quarter of its girth, and with more effort I can get this down to a half. I really like how they feel like soft gum drops when I squeeze them. Gum drops are also a hit with everyone - who doesn't enjoy squeezing them? 4) I bought these after I felt more pain in my arms and hands due to several years of being a programmer. To keep my body flexible, I should make sure to change my mouse clicking/typing movements enough so that there is a variety between them. The exercises really seem to help, based on what I have read.

It is recommended to see a PT or OT
5/5

After breaking my wrist as part of my at-home rehabilitation after I broke my wrist I purchased this product on the orders of my Occupational Therapist (physical therapy for hands). A program for those recovering at home. Since I started using it two months ago, I have been able to increase my hand strength (either on its own or in combination with other exercises and therapy).

Eggsercizers are the best! Eggsercizers vary in hardness and softness, from the most gentle to the most severe
5/5

Over the years, I have used all 4 for various hand and nail issues. Their performance is always top-notch when it comes to the tasks they are required to perform! It never fails that I won't even try other brands of hand exercisers, because this one is just what I need.

In fact, it helps
4/5

There is enough of a difference between the two eggs that we do as another reviewer suggested, which is to start with the softer one in the stiff morning and gradually work up to the firmer egg as the day progresses and our hands are no longer stiff. Our hands are so much stronger and although it hasn't cured arthritis, it has helped with the morning stiffness and improved our general strength and flexibility as well. While you don't have to do all the exercises, there are some that you can find on the package or their website.

It was nothing short of amazing the second time around
5/5

I was in an awful situation where I had to order multiple times. A car was involved in a rollover Since I am having an issue with my grip on one hand, I stumbled upon these hand exercisers by accident and read the reviews listed on this page. It seemed like a lot of good things had been said there, so I took a chance and ordered. I already own the green (squishy as all get out), the blue (medium compression) and the purple (once you've got your dexterity down), but I misplaced the original green egg on my In the end, I decided to take the green egg with me since I couldn't leave without at least one. You can freeze the candy or warm it gently in a cup of warm water if desired. Their simplicity makes them easy to use. They leave no stains or residue on the of the phone is very organic, fitting nicely into the curved cup of your hand and fingers. I use the green egg to work out stiff fingers and my palms of my hands after I broke my fingers. If you were active but then had an accident that caused some issues curling your fingers or gripping, give it a shot, and maybe even the blue one. The green hand exerciser is also available in a less firm version, but I have not tried that one, so I cannot comment on its quality, but I do recommend it as a great travel item and something you can keep in your purse or backpack and use throughout the day.
