This watch has worn out over the years for my grandmother who has been blind. She's used an older model for Compared to the old model, this new model is much better in every way. It is much easier to press the buttons, and the band is very soft and flexible, unlike the old one which was rather stiff and hard. After seeing her previous experiences with the old one, I am very impressed with this new one because all of her concerns about it have been resolved. What really makes this watch stand out from all the others I have ever seen is that it still is as loud as it was before.
Its clear voice and ease of operation make it easy to use. There is no obvious way for a blind person to identify the bottom left button, as it only makes loud beeps. Furthermore, it would seem that it would be difficult to set a watch based just on the voice in As soon as it is set up and explained, it is easy to use.
It would not be recommended!.
There is a soldered battery inside the device. Within a month, the battery of the item I bought for my father went dead. I took it to a jewelry store and it didn't have a removable battery. Now it is pretty useless. What a waste of time!.
During our last purchase of this watch on October 28, 2018, we acquired it for a blind person. I found the interface to be very intuitive. During this week, it did not work. Despite testing the battery and finding it to be good, the watch will not work, and a sound will not be heard. As of right now, we do not know what type of warranty they provide. The device is inexpensive, but it is still a waste of money and an inconvenience for people with visual impairments.
I liked the style of the watch but I did not like the voice that stated the time, it was not very loud and there was a solid silence when hearing the time. But this is to be expected as the cheap watch was a cheap watch.
This watch belonged to my blind husband, who insisted on maintaining it until he lost it! He did not realize how much he relied on it until it was stolen from him! When needed, it is easy to change the battery.
I bought it to give to a woman I know who is blind, and the instructions were a bit difficult to understand. I wish it were more clear.
