As a preface to this review, let me disclose that we just bought a new "Elite Care Heavy Duty Lightweight Foldable I love these chairs and the newer version seems to have fixed at least some of the bigger issues with them. Despite being such a good chair, the best thing about it is how small it is when folded. I would fold the wheelchair into it's bag and gate-check it, then I would get the wheelchair and unfold it so we could take the wife off of the plane right away. Our family mostly used it for travel, and it allowed us to wheel her down the jetways to board the aircraft.
