While the base of the product is decent, the fabric used for the cover is thin and easily torn. It does not fit securely to the armrest bar because it does not attach directly to the armrest bar by amount, but by string ties that are not securely attached. In less than two days of use, the velcro arm strap on the fabric of the cover came loose. In less than three weeks, the fabric near the top of the armrest had shredded. A patient of mine who has left-hand paralysis purchased this for her Hemiparesis on one side, design is good, but cover, mounting, and arm strap are poorly constructed. He replaced it with another product after I removed it from his wheelchair.
It is comfortable to sit on the cushion once it is installed. There is no difficulty switching from one side to another. In addition to being flimsy, the straps used to attach to the USB charge are not very secure, I imagine they will not last very long if you constantly add/remove them. It can be folded so that it remains in place.
