Both the front and back of the pad are contoured. If the pad exceeds 8 inches in thickness, it is 1 inch thick The 1/16" size. These pads are a little bit thicker than the original pads on the chair, so I am very pleased with them.
They are of standard length and have standard There is a wide selection of chair models available for them. It is quite possible that they would fit, although I am not sure for certain.
I filled the padding with black

The first thing you should do is Get rid of the flat plastic "guards" on each side of the arm of the chair that prevent the occupant from putting their hands into the spokes of the wheels For each guard, there are 4 screws. We can then easily access the screws for the arm rests. There is nothing wrong with the product. I am sure when Drive built the chair they installed the armrests before installing the guards.
In order to remove the screws, it is difficult to insert a screwdriver. Long handled screwdrivers as well as short handled screwdrivers did not work for me. Using both Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, I was able to fix the problem. After many attempts, I was finally able to install them but it was time consuming because of the wheelchair's design. I am glad I don't have to do this very It would have been impossible to replace the arm rests with an electric drill.
These fit fine on my Drive blue streak and are pretty much identical to what they replaced. Because they are plastic and their base should be metal, I docked them a star. It is probable that they will eventually break, just as the first ones did. Although getting the screws into the chair is difficult, it's the chair design, not their fault. Have to use a short 90 degree drive screw driver, snug, don't over tighten, this is plastic after all.
Just two Phillips screws had to be tightened in order to replace the wheelchair arm pads. As I don't possess mechanical ability, I used a small screwdriver to open and close each side. Due to the small space, this took me less than five minutes at each side. Necessity is the mother of invention! He cannot do the job due to his physical limitations. It made sense to me. Product seems very durable and I hope it will last for a long time.
For my Mom's wheelchair, I would like the armrests to be a bit longer. Addition of 1 occurred to me as a good idea. Would be perfect if it was 5 inches & Allow the chair to position near a table while still allowing the table to see the chair. Due to the centering of her Drive wheelchair, the armrests do not allow her to reach the steering wheel. Here are the first two Adding 5” extra length to the dress is halved & Armrests are only raised about 3/4" on either side after this modification. I recommend that if you are planning to extend the armrests forward, you purchase a longer length of armrests (14"). Due to a lack of understanding of mounting position, I was directly responsible for this issue. Although the materials are as good as OEM, I re-used the original Allen screws to secure the arm rest versus using the Phillips head bolts that were included.
Ideally, the sheath attached to the arm and the entire arm need to be removed. Also, you can see from the photo that one of the screws received was threadless. I guess quality control didn't work. Thanks to my old screws, I can use them again. My wife's Drive wheelchair arm rests were perfect replacements for her old ones.
As can be seen in the image, the only thing that bugs me are the tags.
I ordered it to replace an armrest on her car. A blue streak wheelchair for my mother-in-law. She broke the left armrest trying to use it as a support. (She now recognizes that it's an armREST, not a support. 1) This one was a pretty good match to the original, and it was easy.
