As little as I knew, "Universal Arm Pads Replacements, 10" does not mean this setting will fit any armrest. It's really interesting that these replacement armrests have grooves that mount to the curved grooves (pic #1) and have square tubing for my metal arm rests (pic #2)! My husband saved me from getting upset! If not for him, I would have gone insane! It was long enough that he also had the time to cut them down to make them usable (pic #3). The (pic#4) has been replaced. Photo#5 shows when I tried to screw the bolts into the arms, they would not fit. We had to use pliers to remove the extra vinyl material stuck.
The old armrests were cracked, and the padding had become compact. This would be very difficult because of the way they are made. I would have become much more anxious if I had tried to recover the old ones. The new armrests cost less than the aggravation I would have encountered The thread inserts are multiple, so they will fit a wide variety of.
My vinil was paper thin, so beware - I had them on my w/c a week before my split out. There is no return policy for these!

Thankfully wheelchair arm rests are available in a variety of industry standard sizes and hole spacings. My wife ordered this set to replace the old arm rests on her Breezy chair, where the old ones were showing signs of wear. Install the new ones very easily. The old ones just need to be unscrewed and reassembled. It will only take a few minutes to complete. The person who asked if we had gotten a wheelchair after I put these on noticed that we had gotten one new.
My cat had stuck a claw into the right arm rest of a set of these and it had become very messy as it's with all these arm rests. I installed only one out of a pair. It looks nice, fits universally, and it's a universal fit - I'm saving the other one for when I need to replace another one. Founded by P. L.
