I bought this for my mom after rehab as she was at risk of falling after having a stroke. So far, this gait belt has barely worn out and is holding up as well as any gait belt I've used in the past. In the review, it asked about stretch, and I did not observe any in the gait belt, so I believe that would be a good thing. In comparison with what they are charging at our local supply store, it was a great price.
