The capacity of the stool was listed as 250 pounds on several catalog sites.
Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry about the convenient Step Stool. The measurements are as follows: 1212" X 18 3/4" X 35" H (the first two dimensions refer to the stool platform, while the third refers to the handle height). br>I hope this has provided you with some insight into your query. br>Philip br>Philip br>Philip b
There was no weight capacity listed on the box or in the assembly instructions, and I looked closely because I, too, was curious. I bought this for a person who weighs around 225 pounds, and it appears to be very sturdy. For added stability, the feet extend past the platform. To obtain an official weight capacity, I suppose you'd have to contact the manufacturer.
The step is about 10" tall at its highest point.

My elderly mother has been having trouble getting into my Jeep when we go out, so I bought this stool for her. I tried a couple of other stools, but they were too small and unstable for her, and she preferred this one because of the handle. I was concerned that it would lack stability. Aside from the box, all I needed was a basic sized cross point screwdriver to put it together. It was a little tricky getting the nuts on tight enough, but it was a quick and easy job if you put it on a table end and used the manufacturer's wrench at a perpendicular angle to the screw to hold it in place while turning the screw with the crosspoint screwdriver. When I was finished, I made sure that all of the connections were secure. When my mother first used it, we began to back away from the curb, and she said, "Wait, make sure you have the step-ladder. " That is a fantastic idea!.
It's simple to put together, sturdy, and portable. I needed to find a way to get in and out of bed quickly after having spinal surgery. This was exactly what I was looking for. And it's something I can take with me wherever I go.
Since she can hold on to the handle and step up, she's in the car in no time and has the confidence that she got in without a hassle.
My son put it together in no time, and it's very sturdy, which is exactly what I needed to get up into my adjustable bed, which is a little high. For the next few months, I won't be able to bend or twist at all due to major spinal surgery. This is the perfect height for me at 5'2" and has never tipped over.
It appears to be of adequate quality. It has a substantial weight to it. Putting it together, on the other hand, was a pain (screwing round tubing to round tubing is a pain). The platform is made of OBS/wooden strand board with an unpainted underside; the rubberized step platform is cut short, exposing the OBS. Exposure to water, I believe, would cause the platform to "blister. " So. It works well in dry environments but not so well in wet environments.
My 94-year-old mother is a very active woman who sleeps in a raised "Captain's Bed" with double drawers underneath. This step stool with a handle is ideal for her to use. She can confidently get out of bed whenever she wants. She is a self-sufficient individual who prefers to manage her own affairs. It's important to me that she is secure. Both of us are ecstatic!.
I FEEL VERY SAFE ON IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT DOESN'T WOBBLE AND HAS A NICE HANDLE. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.
This stool is great because it has a handle that can help you get up and down more steadily. This is the second one I've bought, and I'm having trouble with this particular level. Whatever I do, there's always an inch difference between the legs, and I can't keep calling the 'fixer' to come in and tinker with it. I'm hoping that as it gets more used, it will settle down.
