There was a bit of overhang in the middle of my cane, but I easily repaired it with a few windings of Gorilla tape. My 6 legged dog I was using had the same issue of me stepping on it while walking so I thought that would not be an issue with this one, but it is not better and, in fact, it is If it hadn't been for that, I would have given it 5 stars.
The product may not have been packaged for retail sale The plastic bag was just wrapped around the item. There was a description of universal fit, but the opening was too large or loose I cannot use my Vive cane with this.
My cane is really pleased with this item and I couldn't be happier. was not sure it would fit my cane but it fits and my cane stands on its own. When I get up, I like how it moves along with the cane. A rubber tip that's heavy duty and built well completes the package.
I am shocked at how heavy this is! I have a lot more trouble keeping my balance when I'm lying down! If it stands on its own, it isn't wide enough to do that, but it would have to be perfectly still in order to do so. The situation is all around difficult.
The method works well if you're on level ground, for example, if you're tiling your home or store. This method may not always work when you are outside, because streets rarely have even surfaces.
Cane advertised as standing alone can tip over if it is not well balanced if I had known, I would have bought a regular.
Cane stands on its own, seems to function well. The cane shaft fits well in the handle area but there is no metal stop in the bottom to prevent the cane from slipping out. The product performs.
