While I have a stunning walking cane with a regular point (purchased from Amazon), there are times when I feel I would benefit from more stability, especially when I'm out and about and become tired or sometimes I am not at my best. I don't have to worry about it slipping off because it's on tight. However, it took me a while to get used to this change, as there is a weight difference (albeit a small one) but I had no idea it was a change. Having a cane makes it very easy to lean without juggling it or finding a prop to lean on. This is a great quad tip and a great combination Making the right choice for myself was the best decision of my life.
I am dealing with a bad rotator cuff in my shoulder in addition to the weight, so it wouldn't bother me at all if not for that. It hurts all the time. This is far superior to the single tip I replaced it with. Although articulation would make the replacement tip better, the current one is still excellent.
