This product fits plates with a diameter of 8" to 10 3/4", according to the manufacturer's specifications. The clips are molded to the ring, which is correct.
I just slapped it on a number eight. Plate measures 5 inches across. It appeared to be fine, but I can't say for sure because I haven't tried it with food. I tried moving it, but it stayed put. On a ten, we utilized it. Plate measures 25 inches in diameter.
The diameter of our plates is nearly 11 inches. It fits perfectly, but because it bends, a larger plate could probably be used.
