The picture of this shoe horn looked as polished metal to me as another reviewer did when he searched for "metal shoe horns" and I honestly thought it was White plastic was found to be the material (the handle looks like a small bone). This product has been listed on Amazon since 2015. I tried searching for this particular shoe horn by Manufacturer/Item Number on Google, but it didn't mention what type of material it was made out of. There was no complete description of this shoe horn on any other website that sold it. This shoe horn has a very handy T handle, and using the longer arm makes it very easy to use, so it gets 4 stars from me, but I also believe that the price of a plastic item is too high. Now that it has been in my possession for some time, I hope that it will not break until I've enjoyed it for a while.
If you wear boots, don't try to put them on too tight. There is a chance that it Although it is expensive, it is the best value for the money. My back and knees are quite a bit restricted of movement, however, this is easily accessible for braces in shoes when I am seated.
I was drawn to this item because of the T handle. There is no doubt that it makes putting on shoes easier, especially if one is experiencing pain in the hand. I wonder how long it would last after twisting the handle, the T part of it could break. It would be better if a metal shoehorn had a T-handle. The book will remain in my possession. This book has a rating of four stars.
Cheap plastic makes it very cheap, but it also makes it break easily if you step on it by accident on a carpet. If you stomp on it, it will probably fall apart If it is used in its intended way, it will be of good value and service to you. You'll enjoy it.
Bought it before surgery to replace my hip. Even though plastic is used, the material is strong, rigid, and long enough to fit inside a slip. Take off your shoes and step into the pool. For a friend who has mobility problems because of some reason, I recommend this gift.
I wish the bottom was a little bit wider, but I have very big feet and a tall build, so it keeps my shirt upright.
I like the long neck that makes putting it on easy without having to untuck your shirt. Even though it is made of plastic, it does not seem to be a cheap, easily breakable plastic. My only question is why the surface looks like a bone. It is thick and should last for quite a while. I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Overall, this is a good product and a must have for people who frequently wear dress shoes.
Since I didn't read and take a look at the zoomed-in picture before buying it, I took full responsibility. A shoehorn that can handle my weight and age is what I was looking for. The one in this picture is plastic and looks like a bone. Not for people who need help getting shoes on, but for those who need them for a gift shop. Almost immediately after I broke it I realized I had broken it. After I purchase the plastic one, I'm planning on buying a metal one or a medical quality shoehorn.
We found the perfect solution to our problem. With this device, she no longer needs help putting her shoes on, and she feels more independent in the process. I'd recommend this to anyone who finds it difficult to bend over or have a lot of hand strength to get their shoes on.
