While some reviewers believe that it's frail, Stainless steel of a 17 gauge looks to be quite strong and While I can deliberately bend it, will it bend in normal use as well? This isn't the case, in my opinion. This piece of equipment is 18 inches long, but the last 2 inches are curled into a handgrip, so the practical part is 16 inches long. As a result, it fits nicely into the back of any shoe and is very comfortable for me to wear. It would be a good choice for anyone who needs a shoe horn with a long length.

The shoe horns came in handy because I have a lot of shoes that are nearly impossible to put on without them. It is so handy that I have bought four of them so I can have one near the door where we take off our shoes, one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom, etc. Every time we wear shoes of any kind, I like to have one of these shoehorns along. I like their speed and efficiency they do a great job The most important aspect is that I don't need to bend over too much. I love these because they are easy to use and don't have sharp edges, so my shoes and boots won't get cut up. A nice hook on the end allows them to be hung over doorknobs (if you like-- It is convenient for us to hide them behind the door, that way they are hidden).

The fact that these will probably last longer than I will is appealing to me. Although I had to buff the bottom edge of two (I bought two), I did not have to buff the top edge. There was a bit of a sting in it. It wasn't me that cut myself but it was a possibility that I did. Now that all is well- I don't really have a problem with it, but it may be something others want to know about.
